Ariana Grande seemingly goes Instagram official with ex Ricky Alvarez amid hiatus announcement
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: As Ariana Grande continues to face public scrutiny following her hiatus announcement, the 'Thank U, Next' singer appears to have made her rekindled romance with Ricky Alvarez official on Instagram.
On Wednesday, August 12, the pop star shared a photo dump with pictures from various moments with Alvarez, just days after she completed the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.

In one photo, Grande, 33, showed off their coordinating outfits in a mirror selfie while keeping both their faces out of the frame. Alvarez, whom she dated from 2015 to 2016, is seen standing close to Grande with his arm around her shoulder and holding her hand.
In another slide, the 'Side to Side' singer shared a blurry mirror photo with Alvarez holding the camera upside down while she turned toward him. Grande captioned the post with a seedling emoji, an exclamation point, and a heart emoji.
Along with the photos featuring Alvarez, Grande shared several other moments. She posted a picture with her dog, a selfie wearing a white top, and another video in which she appeared with a girl group. One of the photos also featured the words, “I do love you, Beautiful day.”

Grande has been all over the news regarding her appearance since the release of her track 'Petal' in July. The public scrutiny was so intense that she decided to step back from the spotlight.
She even stepped down from the upcoming West End revival of 'Sunday in the Park With George' with her 'Wicked' co-star Jonathan Bailey.
A representative of Grande said, "Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.”
“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the rep continued.
“This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much. She performs a very physical show, and there is a lot of athleticism involved. She performs healthily and successfully at a very high level night after night," they added.
However, the singer personally didn't share any comments but thanked her audience for being supportive.
