WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s marriage has been under the lens ever since infidelity rumors swirled, subsequently paving the path for divorce speculations.

While the former first couple has yet to address the rumors surrounding their split, renowned US-based astrologer Amy Tripp, who calls herself the ‘internet’s most notorious astrologer’, has reflected on their astrological charts to claim that there might be a potential upheaval in their personal life.

Talking to an Indian outlet, the astrologer claimed that judging by the Obamas’ planetary charts, the former first couple might head toward separation in the middle of this year.

Astrologer claims Barack and Michelle Obama’s astrological charts hint at separation

Speaking to the outlet India Today Global, astrologer Amy Tripp revealed a potential breakdown in the parents-of-two’s three-decade-old marriage.

Tripp shared, “I looked at their charts, and both Barack and Michelle Obama are experiencing significant transits to their Venus, the planet of relationships,” before elaborating on the implications.

“This typically indicates a separation,” shared Tripp, before adding, “I would say July or August of this year could bring major changes for them.”

Tripp further reflected on the rumors of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning former president’s alleged affair rumors with actress Jennifer Aniston, suggesting there might be something “underlying” the speculations.

Cautiously, Tripp added, “That’s just a rumor, but I do think there’s something underlying these speculations.”

While the astrologer - who previously predicted Donald Trump’s second term in the presidency - suggested that there might be a separation between the Obamas, Tripp did not confirm a public divorce.

“They’re going through a rough patch, and even if they separate, it might remain private,” explained the astrologer, before turning her attention to the prospect of Michelle Obama’s own political aspirations.

Tripp dismissed the notion of Michelle wanting to become a president citing her reluctance to enter politics.

Speculations surrounding Barach and Michelle Obama's split started from Jimmy Carter's funeral

The astrologer's ominous prediction came at the heels of the rumor mill spinning the tale of the alleged crack in the Obama family. The rumors initially gained traction when American author Jessica Reed Kraus raised the issue on her Substack on January 15, questioning Michelle Obama's absence at the funeral of former president Jimmy Carter.

Kraus wrote that Michelle's absence at Jimmy Carter's state funeral, coupled with her decision to not attend Donald Trump's inauguration, "confirmed that something was going on between her and Barack.”

Even political commentator Megyn Kelly too reflected on the rumors, noting on her podcast, “There seems to be some momentum picking up in the rumour mill about their marriage."

“I do not know whether this is true, but if it is, it truly would be a political earthquake in Democrat circles, never mind America,” Kelly continued before reflecting on the impact of a potential split on the political landscape, saying, “I don't remember a presidential divorce in modern history.”
