JERUSALEM, ISRAEL: A leaked audio has reportedly revealed one of the chilling calls that was made to a top Iranian general earlier in June by Israeli intelligence operatives.

“I can advise you now, you have 12 hours to escape with your wife and child. Otherwise, you’re on our list right now,” an Israeli intelligence agent told a senior Iranian general in an audio recording obtained by The Washington Post, as reported by The New York Post.

Israeli agents threatened to kill Iranian officials' family and children

The caller also said that they “will hit you, your family, your children, everyone, with the dirt.”

It has been said that the haunting call was made hours after Israel began to hit Iran after launching "Operation Rising Lion" on June 13.

The dozens of threatening calls by Israeli intelligence agents, who are probably working for Mossad, the Jewish state’s top spy agency, were reportedly part of a secret operation aimed at sabotaging and dividing the Iranian regime, led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, via intimidation.

The publication also said that the warnings were sent in Persian, the official language of the Middle Eastern nation.

Operative asked Iranian official to escape within 12 hours

The alleged Mossad agent further told the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) official, “Like I said, 12 hours from this very minute that I spoke to you, you have time to escape. If not, you have no one to blame but yourself."

“We’re closer to you than your own neck vein. Put this in your head. May God protect you,” they added.

As per the report, the agent who called the top official also told him that he’s “calling from a country that two hours ago” took the lives of two top IRGC generals — Hossein Salami and Mohammad Bagheri — and Vice Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the former head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

However, Shamkhani is believed to have survived the assassination attempt.

Iranian official was instructed to make a video denouncing Tehran's regime

“One by one, to hell,” the operative shockingly claimed, before asking the official, “Do you want to be one of them? Do you want to be the next one on the list? Do you also want to destroy your wife and child? No, right?”

When the regime official asked him, “what should I do?”, the caller asked him to make a video denouncing Iran's regime and send it through Telegram within 12 hours.

However, it’s not clear yet if the official made the video or not.
