Bad Bunny's halftime show falls short of record as Super Bowl LX draws nearly 125M viewers
SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA: Sunday’s Super Bowl LX averaged 124.9 million US television viewers, according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel measurement.
The Seattle Seahawks’ 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots drew a massive audience across NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NFL+, and other platforms, though it fell short of last year’s record set by the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl win.

The halftime show, headlined by Latin music star Bad Bunny, also posted big numbers with an average of 128.2 million viewers but did not break the all-time halftime record.
Despite massive social media engagement and international attention, the performance ranked behind past shows by Kendrick Lamar (2025) and Michael Jackson (1993).
That would make it the fourth-most-watched halftime show, behind Kendrick Lamar (133.5 million, 2025), Michael Jackson (133.4 million, 1993), and Usher (129.3 million, 2024).
According to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel measurement system, Super Bowl LX finished with about 124.9 million viewers in the US, falling a few million short of the 127.7 million viewers who watched the 2025 game.
The peak audience of 137.8 million during the second quarter did set a new record, but the broadcast as a whole did not surpass the previous record.
