'Beyond the pale': Tom Homan says reporters’ actions forced his family into hiding

WASHINGTON, DC: 'Border Czar' Tom Homan revealed that life threats and reporters’ attempts to unmask his family have forced them to stay hidden.

On 'The Faulkner Focus,' Homan revealed that “reporters have attempted to identify and locate my family,” which led him to be apart from his wife for several months.

He further voiced his desire that “every ICE and immigrants get to go back home.”

Tom Homan reveals he is forced to hide his family from reporters

'Border czar' Tom Homan revealed during the interview, “I have not lived with my wife since late March because of death threats against me. And now there’s reporters trying to find the location of my family. There are reporters trying to identify who my sons are. This has gone beyond the pale. It’s insulting.”

Homan added that he prays for both ICE agents and immigrants to return home safely to their families, emphasizing that he does not want to see anyone harmed. “And God bless the men and women of ICE and Border Patrol. When I go to bed every night, I say a prayer for every person out there wearing that shield, that they go home to their families,” he said.

This is not the first time Tom Homan has addressed threats. He made it clear that he is not easily intimidated, referencing threats back in November. “They’re not going to silence me. Look, I’m going to do this job. I want to do this job because it’s an issue of national security,” Homan said at the time.

“So you’re not going to shut me up. I’m not going away, and I’m going to do this job and I’m going to continue talking to [the] American people [about] why it needs to be done.”

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), law enforcement officers and ICE agents have seen a 1,000% surge in assaults, while their families have been targeted with online threats.

Homan appeared on the NewsNation Town Hall with Chris Cuomo, Stephen A Smith, and Bill O’Reilly, explaining that officers wear masks to protect their identities from bounties and threats.

“These men and women put a gun on their hip and wear a Kevlar vest to go on the streets every day looking for the worst of the worst to make this country safer. Wearing a mask, if that protects them and protects your families, then that has to be done,” he said.

“I remember the days, some of these cities, if they weren’t wearing a mask during Covid, you got reported to the police and got arrested,” he added.
