WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump came under fire from the Joe Biden campaign after the former president seemed to slur and get some important facts wrong during a speech for the National Rifle Association in Texas on Saturday, May 18, according to Raw Story.

During the political campaign event, Trump had to cope with an annoying fly. He was made fun of on the Internet for boasting during the speech that he was healthier and a "better physical specimen" than fellow former president Barack Obama. He smacked the fly away, calling it 'brutal' as he spoke.

Following the event, the Biden-Kamala Harris campaign's fast response team gave their feedback.

During his address, Trump mentioned something about his uncle and the Biden-Harris HQ responded on X, "Trump: I say to myself ‘you’re a frickin genius.’ I had an uncle who is the longest-serving president *glitches* uh, professor in the history of MIT."

In fact, Trump seemed to stumble over his words during that specific story. The report also brought attention to a seeming inconsistency in Trump's remarks.

The account wrote, "Trump yesterday: I won 29 golf championships. Trump today: I won 31 golf championships."

"A confused Trump" referred "to himself in the third person while reading his teleprompter: 'Yes oh yes and quickly says President Trump," Biden's campaign rapid response team added.

As the address came to a close, the Biden-Harris HQ stated, "Trump starts playing QAnon music during his bizarre slur-filled NRA speech."

Internet trolls Donald Trump over error-filled speech

People on the Internet trolled Donald Trump as he seemed to get some facts wrong during his NRA speech. A user wrote on X, "This is the same recycled nonsense from the last 5 rallies," while one added, "Looks like someone let the genius out of the stable again."

A person stated, "Yes I’m Donald J Trump. The J stands for genius," whereas one mentioned, "Trump didn’t expect the crowd to raucously laugh when he said he thinks he’s a genius."

A person said, "Yeah, and my next door neighbor just passed the bar exam so I’m expecting to receive my medical license in the mail shortly," while one mentioned, "Well I just googled this and of course Trump is lying again."
