Biden tells Trump to 'get a life' over misinformation on storm, promises aid to Hurricane Milton victims
WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden has assured rapid relief during a breifing on Hurricane Milton.
During the briefing, he also responded to misinformation on the hurricane and took the opportunity to criticize former president Donald Trump.
His remarks included a direct message to Trump as well as a surprising joke about the Israel-Hamas war, mocking Benjamin Netanyahu.

The president also highlighted concerns about the federal relief fund for small businesses affected by the disaster.
During his update, Biden addressed the misleading claims circulating online that FEMA is only providing $750 in aid and plans to seize land from those seeking government relief.
"It's bizarre," Biden said, rejecting the "onslaught of lies" by Trump about the federal government's response to the concurrent storms.
He then targeted the former president, accusing him of spreading misinformation about the federal response to the storm.
Biden ended the briefing with a direct message to his predecessor, saying, "Mr President Trump, former President Trump – get a life man, help these people," Daily Mail reports.

Joe Biden urges Congress to act quickly on small business aid during Hurricane Milton briefing
Joe Biden also called on lawmakers to expedite emergency funding, especially for small businesses, warning that the disaster relief fund for loans is running critically low.
"Move as rapidly as they can," he urged, though he admitted he has not spoken with House Speaker Mike Johnson about reconvening Congress before Election Day, according to CBC News.
Johnson had previously assured that FEMA and the administration currently have the necessary resources. When asked whether Biden had contacted Trump, he chuckled, replying, "Are you kidding me?"
A reporter tried to ask an off-topic question about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
"What did Prime Minister Netanyahu tell you about his plans related to retaliation?" a reporter asked, "He's coming over to help with the storm," Biden responded.
Biden was just asked about his communications with Netanyahu regarding the attacks on Israel and retaliation and his response was “He's coming over to help with the storm."
