LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bill Maher and journalist Kara Swisher engaged in a lively debate over the likely outcome of the 2024 presidential election during the June 3 episode of the 'Club Random' podcast.

Maher jokingly stated that he'd prefer voting for a "head in a jar of blue liquid" over Donald Trump, yet he confessed his belief that President Joe Biden is "going to f------ lose," later challenging Swisher to change his mind on this within two minutes, inviting her to present her argument.

Swisher and Maher debate 2024 election dynamics

Swisher accepted Maher's challenge, arguing that the 81-year-old Biden has a good chance of winning due to a "silent majority" of voters who, despite not being vocal against Trump, will refuse to support him in light of his numerous legal issues—particularly women. "We don’t want chaos again," Swisher emphasized.

Maher replied, "Do I think that’s absolutely possible, what you described? Yes. Or it could not be and I can’t tell the difference."

However, Maher highlighted his belief that the "shy Trump voter" could still tip the election in Trump's favor, arguing that there are individuals who will vote for the contentious politician but prefer to keep it private because "it's a little declasse."

"Do I think Joe Biden can do the job? Absolutely. I don’t think he can win the job," Maher said, adding, "And that’s what I care about. He’s going to lose because people think he’s too old. And perception is reality. I’m sorry."

“The shy Trump voter is the one who is going to vote for Trump but doesn’t want you to know it because it’s a little declasse,” he said.

Voters have long expressed concerns about Biden's physical health and cognitive abilities.

The president directly addressed these rumors during a speech in September 2023, asserting his fitness to serve a second term.

Netizens divided over Bill Maher's claims

Bill Maher's claim that Biden would lose the November election garnered divided reactions from the online community.

A viewer expressed, "Little Bill should stick to Hollywood."

Following suit, another observer added, "Maher turning on Briben?"

A viewer pointed out, "He still can’t get past his TDS though.."

Another comment echoed, "Bill has lost touch with reality more and more lately."

A follower contributed, "Maher's got a point. The guy's not exactly lighting up the political landscape. I mean, who's excited about another four years of him?"

A comment read, "O Dear: Could he write that in stone…."

An individual elaborated, "The Writing is on the wall. Thats why Biden is forced to lie, cheat and steal."
