WASHINGTON, DC: Social media users were ready to aim at Joe Biden after the current POTUS announced that he would make an unplanned visit to Walter Reed to undergo a physical examination.

This announcement prompted many trolls to target Biden's age, with some even suggesting that the president participates in a cognitive exam and that his memory is deteriorating.

Biden was branded "tone-deaf and tactless" recently after a clip of him discussing the Israel-Hamas ceasefire over an ice cream outing caught the attention of social media users.

After his interview at 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', the President was recorded chatting with fellow customers at Van Leeuwen’s ice cream shop in New York City.

When asked about the ceasefire, Biden, while savoring his tastebuds with a mint chip ice cream, asserted that the ceasefire is close and might be concluded by Monday, according to his National security advisor.

Biden's advancing age has been a topic of jest online. Recently, when he claimed to be the same age as former president Donald Trump, who is also his nemesis in the 2024 presidential elections, social media users did not back away from shredding the current POTUS for his mental ability, asserting that it is experiencing a sharp decline.

Rosalynn Carter, who passed away on November 19 at the age of 96, was married to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter for 77 years. In her lifetime she was an activist and writer known to be an advocate for the elderly, affordable housing, mental health, and the protection of monarch butterflies. Joe Biden set to visit Walter Reed for physical examination

According to Fox News, Biden is reportedly willing to make an impromptu visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a physical health check-up. Walter Reed has been the ultimate destination to cater to the health-related issues of US presidents.

Located in Bethesda, Maryland, every commander-in-chief undergoes routine checkups at this medical facility.

Giving an update on Biden's overall health status, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently communicated that POTUS has been proving his cognitive prowess regularly. Thus according to his physician Dr Kevin O'Connor, Biden is not entitled to undertake a mental health examination.

A reporter asked the secretary, "Does the White House think that the idea of the President taking a cognitive test as a part of this physical is a legitimate idea?"

As per Fox News, Jean-Pierre replied, "I'm just gonna say what Dr O'Connor said to me about a year ago when [Biden's physical] was released. The President proves every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks, by dealing with world leaders, by making difficult decisions on behalf of the American people – whether it's domestic or it's national security."

Biden previously earned a clean chit from Dr O'Connor on his physical exam when it was last conducted on February 16. In an open letter, O'Connor highlighted that Biden is healthy and can "successfully execute the duties of the presidency."

Previously, in an analysis report from Special Counsel Robert Hur, Biden's mental acuity was placed under heavy scrutiny as claims mentioned in the report suggested he is facing significant memory issues, as reported by Fox News.

Internet users assert Joe Biden should have his brain examined

Many social media users took to Facebook to troll President Joe Biden.

A user wrote, "They should examine his brain but they’d have to find it first."

Another user wrote, "Definitely needs a Mental Exam to see how far along his dementia is!"

A user commented, "Bet he won’t have a mental acuity test which he needs. But we all know anyway. ."

Another user commented, "He’s a combo platter from the Wizard of Oz- no brain, no heart, no courage. But I’m sure his docs will say he’s in great shape. 😂"

A user stated, "He has already forgotten what the appointment was for!"
