LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During the latest episode of 'Real Time', comedian Bill Maher slammed President Joe Biden over his performance in the recent debate against Donald Trump.

Maher, known for his sharp wit and uncompromising commentary, humorously compared Biden's responses to those of beauty pageant contestants, suggesting they lacked substance.

"Did you guys watch the debate? If you missed it, don’t worry, one of the participants did," Maher quipped. Maher has been a vocal critic of Biden’s candidacy, particularly emphasizing concerns about his age and the challenges it poses. Earlier in June, Maher expressed skepticism about Biden’s immigration policies, predicting they could impact his reelection prospects.

"If Biden loses this election, it will be because of two things: he’s old… and immigration," Maher remarked, underscoring his concerns.

In a humorous yet cutting remark, Maher playfully suggested a new Secret Service code name for Biden, drawing a comparison to a well-known celebrity scandal. "I don’t want to say he’s been in bed, but his new name in the Secret Service is Amber Heard," Maher joked, referencing a highly publicized incident involving Johnny Depp and his ex-wife.

Joe Biden defends himself after debate

Following the debate, Biden sought to address concerns about his performance during a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina. Standing beside First Lady Jill Biden, he acknowledged his age and experience. "I know I’m not a young man," Biden stated, reaffirming his belief in his capabilities.

He also criticized Trump’s conduct during the debate, stating, "Did you see Trump last night? I think he has set a new record – and I mean this sincerely – for the number of lies told in one debate."

Trump, meanwhile, used a rally in Virginia to attack Biden’s handling of the debate, claiming Biden was unprepared and overwhelmed. "He got the debate rules he wanted, he got the date he wanted, on the network he wanted to be with the [moderators] he wanted," Trump asserted.

Internet divided over Bill Maher mocking Joe Biden

The public reaction to the recent presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump has been as polarized as the event itself. Comments across social media platforms reflect a wide spectrum of opinions, from critiques of Biden's performance to skepticism about Trump's behavior.

One user wrote, "If only Biden had been there to see what a train wreck he was that night."

Another user commented, "Just remember, Biden spent 7 days secluded, preparing for this debate."

One user said, "In the debate one couldn't stop lying while the other only wanted a good lie down."

Another added, "Policy matters. Not who is a better debater."

One replied, "Trump kept whinin' and cryin' about Jacked Up Joe was going to show up at the debate but Sleepy Joe did instead...lol"

Another stated, "The public are hypocrites, first they say they want honesty from their politicians, but really what they want is confidence."

One user wrote, "The trainwreck of a debate...for the history books. A liar and a mumbler. AWFUL."
