Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds skip Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding amid friendship fallout rumors
LAKE PLACID, NEW YORK: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were spotted a couple of hundred miles away from New York City on Thursday, July 2, while Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding festivities unfolded in the Big Apple.
A report by TMZ said the actress, 38, and her actor husband were in Lake Placid, New York, to cheer on their six-year-old daughter, Betty, as she took part in a horse show at a local farm. The little girl reportedly secured second place in the competition.

The 'Gossip Girl' star wore a blue tank top and denim shorts for the outing, while the 'Deadpool' actor sported a white T-shirt, khaki pants, and a straw hat
Lively and Reynolds' reported appearance elsewhere during the Grammy winner and the NFL star's wedding celebrations suggested they were not part of what has been described as the wedding of the year.
The guest list reportedly included Machine Gun Kelly, Gigi Hadid, sports reporter Erin Andrews, Bradley Cooper, and Dakota Johnson.
Taylor Swift distances herself from Blake Lively
The couple's apparent absence from the July 3 wedding also fueled speculation that Lively and Swift's friendship has ended. The pop star and the actress had been close friends for more than a decade.
Earlier, it was reported that Swift was frustrated after being drawn into Lively's highly publicized legal battle against her 'It Ends With Us' co-star Justin Baldoni. The 'Cruel Summer' hitmaker was initially subpoenaed in the case, but the subpoena was later withdrawn.
Taylor Swift focuses on peace after fallout
Amid the latest developments, Page Six, citing an insider, reported, “Taylor’s in a different place now and she just wants to be around people she trusts and who bring her peace.”
The source also claimed that the fallout between the two stars “is a shame because she and Blake really were close, but she doesn’t think it’s something that’s going to be fixed. As far as [Taylor’s] concerned, their friendship is done.”
“There was a point where Taylor thought she and Blake would get past all of this. She didn’t expect things to end up like this. At first she figured once everything settled down, they’d be fine. But then more stuff kept happening and it just got harder to come back from,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce said “I do” on July 3. According to an official statement, Adam Sandler officiated their wedding, while the pop star's brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor. Kelce's older brother, Jason Kelce, was his best man.
