Body language expert highlights 'flaccid' gestures behind Kamala Harris' rambling bleary-eyed video
WASHINGTON, DC: A video message from Kamala Harris which circulated among supporters earlier in the week, sparked widespread concern. On Tuesday, November 26, a body language expert uncovered the true dynamics behind the message.
Many viewers were surprised by Vice President Harris' delivery, sparking speculation about her condition as she expressed gratitude to her supporters after the election outcome.
Body language expert analyzes Kamala Harris' struggled emotional delivery in viral video
Body language analyst Judi James offered a contrasting perspective, noting that the video revealed Kamala Harris' significant struggle to convey genuine human emotion, Daily Mail reported.
The expert explained, "This is a very verbose speech that combines Harris' talent for the word salad with her signature body language rituals that try to persuade you that you are listening to some extremely profound, motivational thoughts and messages."
Hey Kamala Harris, you don't know me. But i was in a tragic accident in 2020. Paralyzed from the neck down. Its been a hard few years. But today i stood up and walked to turn your stream off. God bless you.

Online commenters compared the veep's delivery to that of a "drunk aunt at Thanksgiving" and shared memes of Harris smoking a cigar and looking sloppy, as well as one with a bottle of alcohol.
At one moment in the video, Harris can be heard hiccuping while speaking, further reinforcing that idea.
"I just have to remind you, don’t let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before Nov 5th, and you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire."
She went on to say, "So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you," in the video, Harris' delivery was described as both bizarre and concerning.
However, James reached a different conclusion, implying that Harris was somewhat struggling to show emotion regarding the loss and to express empathy towards her supporters.
"Her gestures are largely flaccid, including the waggling finger, implying a weaker impression than her words," James said.
The vice president's remarks marked her first address to supporters since delivering her concession speech the day after the November 5 election, where she vowed to continue the fight.
Body language expert analyzes Kamala Harris' attempt to stay positive
Kamala Harris tried to convey a more positive tone in the video, with James noting that she began speaking with a "very playful greeting smile."
"She purses her lips around the smile and talks through her smile, suggesting nothing will halt the fun that she loves to advocate," the analyst explained.
In her message, Harris acknowledged that the campaign's outcome was not as supporters had hoped, yet she encouraged them to remain hopeful.
Harris "employs the nodding-head baton ritual that is used to make her words sound deeply important with this 'importantisizing' technique including raised brows, a pinned eye gaze (I see you!) and a frequently waggling index finger," James posited.
At a certain moment, Harris nearly became overwhelmed with emotion, placing her hand on her throat as her speech became increasingly disjointed while attempting to finish her remarks.
"The speech dissolves slightly towards the end when she speaks about collecting Thanksgiving family around you in what goes down word-salad alley," James said.
"But overall she seem to be determined to keep this motivational to her audience, as though they'd fallen, rather than herself," the expert added. "A bit like a concerned mom revving their teenager up for a second attempt at failed exams or sports."
Social media erupts with memes and edits portraying Kamala Harris as 'hungover'

One user altered a video to show Harris clutching a Hennessy bottle, while another depicted her smoking a cigar, adding a caption, "Kamala Harris finally breaks her silence after election loss Hungover Kamala Harris Gets Sinking Feeling While Checking If She Drunk-Posted Anything Yesterday."
