Brandi Glanville’s pal launches GoFundMe for medical expenses after multiple complex diagnoses
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brandi Glanville’s friend has started a fundraising page for the TV personality to help cover her medical expenses as she faces a myriad of health complications.
Gina Rodriguez, a friend of Glanville, created a page for her on GoFundMe after the 53-year-old openly and vulnerably spoke about her complex diagnosis in a new Instagram video.
Brandi Glanville’s illness changed her life
According to Rodriguez’s message, “For the past three years, Glanville has been fighting an illness that has completely changed her life.”
She disclosed that the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ alum “has been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.”
Apart from these conditions, she also has a fungal ball inside her face.
To treat all of these conditions, “months of daily IV medication through a PICC line” is required, along with a “treatment for at least 4–6 months, possibly longer depending on how her body responds.”

The star’s pal also asserted that Glanville’s “exhausted, in pain and trying to mentally prepare herself for months more of treatment and surgeries. The financial toll has become overwhelming.”
The fundraiser went on to mention that her insurance is not sufficient to cover all her expenses, including “her upcoming surgeries, procedures, medications, doctors, dental work and everyday living expenses while she is unable to work normally.”
“Every donation, no matter the amount, will help take some of the financial pressure off Brandi so she can concentrate on getting well. If you aren't able to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated,” the fundraising page added.
Brandi Glanville sees little improvement in treatment
The former model also revealed in her social media video where exactly the “fungal ball” is located inside her face.
In the lengthy caption, she wrote, “I’ve been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis.”
“I also have a fungal ball in my face that needs to be removed. I have to get the metals from old dental work out of my mouth, my breast implants need to come out, and I’m looking at 4–6 months of daily IV treatment,” she stated.
Further explaining, Glanville admitted that the treatment was hard and “I’ve had very little improvement. I still have a couple surgeries ahead of me and months of treatment to go.”
