Candace Cameron Bure becomes first-time grandma as son Lev welcomes 'miracle' baby boy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Candace Cameron has now been promoted to the role of a grandmother as her son, Lev Valerievich Bure, and his wife, Elliott Dunham Bure, recently became parents to a baby boy.
The ‘Full House’ star's son and daughter-in-law, both 26, welcomed their firstborn on August 4 but shared the happy news with the world on Sunday, September 27.
Candace Cameron Bure's grandson's name is Bond Leo Bure
Elliott shared several photos of the baby, who was born 10 weeks early, on her Instagram page, revealing his name as “BOND LEO BURE.” She, however, carefully hid his face.
The new mother also recalled the tough times she and her family faced as Bond was admitted to the NICU immediately after his birth.

In the caption, she wrote, “Bond was born 10 weeks early at exactly 3 lbs and was transferred immediately to the NICU — through lots of tears, countless prayers, and what felt like endless hours in the hospital, 5 weeks and 5 days later we finally brought our miracle boy home!!”
Elliot expressed her gratitude towards “the entire staff of nurses and doctors” for taking “the most incredible care of our baby, and to our community who we couldn’t have done any of it without!”
“Thank you Jesus for every answered prayer!!!!! We are blessed beyond measure!!!!” she added in her post.

Candace was soon to share her excitement over the arrival of her grandson as she commented below the post, “Bond Leo is a miracle baby 😭🙌🏼🙏🏻❤️ Our hearts could not be more full of love."
"You and Lev are the most amazing parents - and we are here for every minute of it 🙌🏼❤️ We love you all sooooooo much 💙🩵💙," she added.
Lev and Elliot announced pregnancy in May
The latest post came months after in May, Lev and Elliot revealed the pregnancy on social media.
Holding sonogram copies in several photos, Elliot wrote in the caption, “baby bure coming soon !!!!!!”
At the time, Candace expressed her happiness via an Instagram post, where she said, “Are you KIDDING?!! Another grandbaby on the way 🥹!!!!! Does life get any better?!!! CandyGram x2 = fully ignited 🍭💖👶🏼. Congratulations Lev and @elliottpbure 🎈, we are still pinching ourselves!! 🥰.”
The former talk show panelist’s daughter, Natasha Perry, also revealed that she was pregnant in May. Sharing multiple pictures with her husband, Bradley Steven Perry, she wrote, “Our dream role 🐣.”
