Maybe the woke DA should spend more time prosecuting CRIMINALS rather than harassing ICE agents.

Carlton Johnson II was facing eviction from Loring Towers
Eviction papers were reportedly filed against Johnson and all occupants of his unit at Loring Towers in late June. A Fox 9 report said the suspect was being evicted after making threatening statements.
While that report did not identify him by name, it said a man at the complex had made statements about a firearm to a security officer in June.
The 35-year-old reportedly “lifted up his shirt to display his firearm” during the incident. The report also said Johnson had allegedly assaulted another resident at the apartment complex in March 2026.
Carlton Johnson II reportedly displayed firearm at complex
Another incident was reported on June 11, when Johnson allegedly “walked around the premises with a firearm openly displayed.”
He also reportedly entered the management office while openly carrying the firearm. The report said he had displayed his gun to people on the sidewalk as well.
The incidents became part of the picture surrounding Johnson’s reported eviction from the building, where he had lived for more than a year before Wednesday’s shooting.
A local news page on X also reported that Johnson had a history of prior substance abuse and domestic arrests and shared an alleged photo of the shooting suspect. That information was not independently verified by the source cited in the report.
Carlton Johnson II had earlier legal history
Johnson also had a previous case involving a sibling dating back to 2018. He was accused of assaulting the sibling but denied assaulting anyone.
He pleaded guilty to destruction of property in that case and reportedly spent four days in jail before being sentenced to probation. According to the report, the judge at the hearing said Johnson had “anger issues.”
The earlier case adds another part to Johnson’s reported legal history, though he denied the assault allegation.
