LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Jimmy Kimmel makes his high-profile return to the airwaves following suspension by ABC, celebrity astrologer Aliza Kelly is weighing in on what lies ahead for the embattled host.

Kimmel was pulled off the air after his controversial comments linking the "MAGA gang" to Charlie Kirk’s shoooting sparked backlash.

The fallout led major affiliate groups like Nexstar and Sinclair to threaten dropping his show, and nearly a third of ABC affiliates are still refusing to broadcast his return.

What lies in Jimmy Kimmel's future?

In an exclusive with Daily Mail, celebrity astrologer Aliza Kelly offered insight into how Kimmel might navigate the backlash and what could lie ahead.

Kelly, host of the hit podcast 'Horoscope Weekly,' revealed that Kimmel is a Scorpio sun and Aries moon, born on November 13, 1967, a combination that signals intensity, courage, and a strong will.

“Both Scorpio and Aries are ruled by the planet Mars, which is about action” explained Kelly, who has worked with celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Bella Hadid, and Keke Palmer. “Ambition drives courage, bravery like not taking anything that doesn't feel right and true for them.”

Mars, known as the "planet of war," is associated with boldness, assertiveness, and standing up for one’s beliefs.

"It's a planet that is not afraid to stand up for itself and stand up for what it believes in." Because of this, Kelly doesn’t believe Kimmel will back down or compromise easily.

“I don't think that Jimmy is going to just sort of casually accept terms that he doesn't feel are true to his values,” she said. “I think that we are definitely going to see how he becomes this sort of figurehead of the First Amendment.”

'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' returns to ABC as the host opens with an emotional monologue

Jimmy Kimmel returned to ABC’s late-night stage on Tuesday, September 23, to cheers and applause as he kicked off a highly anticipated episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Fighting back tears, the host opened with an emotional monologue aimed at clarifying his controversial remarks about the recent killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Addressing the backlash, Kimmel said his words had been misinterpreted, stating, “I have no illusions about changing anyone’s mind, but I do want to make something clear… it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man."

He reiterated that from the moment news of Kirk’s death broke, he has extended love and sympathy to the family, a sentiment he also shared in a recent Instagram post. Kimmel emphasized that he never meant to "blame any specific group for the actions of what was obviously a deeply disturbed individual.”

He acknowledged that some viewers may have found his comments "ill-timed, unclear, or both," and offered a measured response to the criticism, “And for those who think I did point a finger… I get why you’re upset. If the situation was reversed, there’s a good chance I’d have felt the same way.”

The host wrapped up the show on a lighter note, quipping, “I think we’ll be back tomorrow night, see you then.”
