WASHINGTON, DC: Lara Trump locked horns with radio host Charlamagne tha God on the Monday, October 21, episode of 'The Breakfast Club', where she staunchly defended her father-in-law, Donald Trump, against accusations of racism.

“I’ve never seen this man say a racist thing," she said about the former president. This drew a laugh from Charlamagne.

Lara, co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), was prompted to address the credible allegations that Trump—who has been scrutinizing Vice President Kamala Harris' heritage---is racist.

When 'The Breakfast Club' co-host DJ Envy mentioned the well-documented allegations surrounding Donald Trump's controversial history—such as the 1970s housing discrimination lawsuit and his inflammatory remarks about the Central Park Five—Lara Trump brushed them off.

“That’s ridiculous. I’ve known this man for sixteen years,” she asserted. “There was never any proof of anything with the houses; they settled that. There was no admission of anything there.”

Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, and Korey Wise were wrongly convicted as teenagers of a brutal assault on Patricia Meili, a White woman who was jogging in Central Park on the night of April 19, 1989.

In 2002, all five convictions were overturned when a confession and DNA evidence linked serial offender Matias Reyes to the Meili assault.

Charlamagne tha God's epic reaction to Lara Trump's defense of Donald Trump

'The Breakfast Club' co-host Charlamagne tha God could not hold back his amusement as Lara Trump claimed, “Donald Trump was really beneficial to the Black community when he was in the White House. I will say I’ve never seen this man say a racist thing.”

His laughter only intensified when Lara asked, “Why is that funny, Charlamagne?” to which he responded, “It’s hysterical because people act like there’s no such thing as Google, or we don’t have TV or we don’t have radio.”

“This is a man who was beloved by so many people in this country, and he was friends with everybody. Jesse Jackson, by the way... [Trump] let them stay rent-free in one of his buildings–the Rainbow Coalition–because he felt like at the time that was a very important thing,” Lara stated.

Lara Trump claims Donald Trump 'doesn’t care' about religion

Lara Trump then highlighted that her father-in-law Donald Trump signed a bipartisan bill allocating $250 million each year to support historically Black colleges and universities, along with the First Step Act, which aimed at sentencing and prison reform.

However, when pressed by Charlamagne tha God about how minorities could overlook Trump’s previous derogatory comments, Lara maintained that he does not discriminate based on religion or appearance.

“If you’re an American citizen, Donald Trump doesn’t care [about] your religion. He doesn’t care what you look like," she said.
