LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The troubled son of Cher has reportedly asked the court to put a stop to the subpoenas his mother has sent to several medical facilities to obtain his medical details.

The singer has demanded records of Elijah Blue Allman from Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center, Cedars Sinai as well as two other institutions amid the conservatorship battle, RadarOnline.com reported.

Cher’s son Elijah Allman objects to her subpoenas

Allman in his new filing argued that he has objected to his mother’s subpoenas so that he can safeguard his “physician-patient privileged and psychotherapist-patient privileged information" and to protect him from "unwarranted annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, and undue burden and expense".

His lawyer reportedly mentioned, “[Cher’s] issuance of the subpoena is prejudicial to ALLMAN as the documents requested are protected under the psychotherapist-patient privilege, the physician-patient privilege, and ALLMAN’s right to privacy.”

In addition, the 47-year-old has also demanded a fine of $3K for the ‘Believe’ singer.

Cher believes Elijah Allman is unable to handle his health and finances

This came after Cher earlier filed a request in the court to be Allman’s conservator, alleging her son’s drugs and mental health issues.

In her court papers, it was reportedly stated, “Close friends and family contacted [Cher] to express concern about Elijah’s whereabouts and fear that upon receiving his trust distribution, Elijah fell back into the pattern of self-harm and financial mismanagement that they have all seen repeated time after time.”

Cher also accused Marieangela King, wife of Allman, of influencing her son in the wrong ways.

But King fired back at the ‘Do You Believe In Life After Love?’ claiming Allman was doing everything to be in good health.

She told the court, as reported by RadarOnline.com, “We live together as a married couple and I see the irrefutable daily effort he is making to stay sober.”

“He attends AA meetings 5-6 times a week, he is free of drugs, and -now that we have reclaimed our stolen vehicle from his mother's property- he can and does attend daily AA meetings affordably. He is tending to his finances, getting his bills paid, and ensuring that his property is under his control,” King asserted.

She also accused Cher of not being able to handle “her own affairs — let alone those of Elijah".

King added, “To my knowledge, the petitioner has never known the security code to her own home, does not drive, does not prepare her own meals or dress herself, and has admitted to me that she is a 'manic depressive'."
