NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA: Chris Hemsworth shared a relatable as well as very funny personal story in a recent interview.

The actor, 42, sat alongside his wife Elsa Pataky for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia interview, where they were asked, “Who is more likely to forget their passport?”

Pataky immediately pointed towards him as Hemsworth explained, “I actually went to the airport once and I had my daughter’s passport instead of my son’s passport… They kind of look the same.”

But he was interrupted by his wife, who claimed, “They don’t.”

The ‘Thor’ star, however, did not stop and tried to sneak in their son using their daughter's passport. “I said, ‘Oh, yeah, this is her.’ And they were like, ‘That’s a boy. No.’ So, yeah, that didn’t work,” he added.

Chris Hemsworth's daughter is already a film star

Hemsworth and the 49-year-old Spanish model got married in 2010 and welcomed a daughter named India Rose in 2012 and twin sons—Sasha and Tristan in 2014.

Though the couple like to keep their children away from cameras, their eldest child worked in 2022’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ where she was seen as Gorr’s daughter.

The teenager will again be seen alongside her dad in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ releasing in December. But earlier this year, Hemsworth disclosed that it was not easy to bring India for shooting this time.

She’s now 13, so she’s a teenager, so a bit different from when we shot the other one. And she walks on set and she’s like, ‘Ugh, how long is this gonna take?’ I was like, ‘We haven’t even started!’” he said on ‘The View’.

The ‘Crime 101’ actor further shared that he had to “bribe her to come onto set.”

“She’s like, ‘I’m not coming! I’m not even getting paid! What am I even doing here?’ And I go, ‘You are getting paid.’ She goes, ‘Really? You didn’t tell me that,’” he added.

Chris Hemsworth wants his daughter 'to have a childhood'

But Hemsworth also wants his children to live their childhood to the fullest. In 2023, he spoke with ET Online, where he talked about India’s movie debut.

“You know, that was originally supposed to be just a super quick little moment in the film, and then the character expanded due to the story changing. I said, 'Oh, do you want to do some dialog in the film?' And she's like, 'Yeah, cool!' And she was a pro and loved it,” he shared.

He added that he wants “her to have a childhood. I think so does she.”

However, Hemsworth also noted that “if she's keen to do more things”, he won’t stop her. “But I said, 'There's plenty of time, sweety. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid. Because once the train moves, it's pretty hard to get off, and you miss a lot of things,” he noted.
