WASHINGTON, DC: A covert operative who disclosed their identity as a cross-dresser was highlighted in a recent diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) newsletter distributed by the executive branch of the US intelligence community, consisting of the CIA and other top-tier military espionage agencies, as per FOX News.

According to the news report, the Intelligence Community Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Office disseminated the internal newsletter, The Dive, which showcased various left-leaning initiatives, across the US intelligence community.

DEI newsletter highlights cross-dressing

The document is housed within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), a Cabinet-level position overseeing the intelligence community. Its central theme revolves around "the importance of words," with a specific emphasis on fostering inclusivity within espionage organizations.

The editor-in-chief of the newsletter, whose name remains undisclosed in the document, remarked, "This issue of The Dive highlights some … initiatives to improve the accuracy of the language we use on other topics; These are a sampling and are not comprehensive of all the great work being done across our agencies."

Rosalynn Carter, who passed away on November 19 at the age of 96, was married to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter for 77 years. In her lifetime she was an activist and writer known to be an advocate for the elderly, affordable housing, mental health, and the protection of monarch butterflies. It added, "This edition also has articles that speak to inclusivity more broadly, exploring gender identity, advances in accessibility, and diversity in leadership."

Remarkably, the newsletter comprises six articles: one discussing the redefinition of discourse surrounding Africa, another focusing on linguistic diversity, a third addressing an intelligence officer's gender expression, a piece highlighting accessibility in combat zones, and a final article covering the 6th Annual African American & Hispanic Leadership Summit.

In the initial article, the viewpoint of an intelligence official is presented, highlighting that certain training programs and presentations in the past have inaccurately associated Islamic ideologies with terrorism.

The editor-in-chief of the newsletter explains how newly formed Asian and Pacific Islander staff resource groups have proven effective in "establishing a new framework and language guidelines for discussing the People's Republic of China," and underscores a similar initiative independently.

Additionally, an illustration of eradicating biased language is provided in a chart featured on the "linguistics diversity" page.

According to the statement, officials are advised to refrain from using terms such as "grandfathered" or "cakewalk," which have historical ties to slavery, "blacklisted," which perpetuates negative connotations towards blackness, and "sanity check," which implies that individuals with mental illnesses are less intelligent.
