Colin Farrell calls Tom Cruise ‘animal’ as he praises his unmatched work ethic
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Colin Farrell recently appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', where he reflected on a range of topics, including his admiration for Tom Cruise. Farrell, who reunited with his 'Minority Report' co-star during a special screening of 'Disclosure Day', spoke warmly about Cruise’s intense work ethic.
The Irish actor did not hold back his praise, calling Cruise “an animal” in terms of drive and energy. He added that Cruise remains one of the most extraordinary actors he has worked with and continues to set a benchmark for work ethic in the industry.

Farrell shared that Cruise left a strong impression on him from their time on set. He said Cruise has a very strong energy and focus while working. He described him as “what an engine,” and added that Cruise is a very impressive person to be around.
He also praised Cruise as a great actor, saying he can do many different kinds of roles, from serious dramas to big action films. Farrell mentioned that he once showed a younger friend some of Cruise’s older movies, like 'Born on the Fourth of July', to show his range beyond the 'Mission: Impossible' series.
Farrell said working with Cruise felt intense but inspiring, as he is very focused and competitive in a positive way on set. “One day, he walked onto the set and said, ‘Is this an action movie? Why don’t I hear action? Let’s go.” Farrell added, “It’s one of the most positive energies I’ve ever seen.”

Steven thank you for all of the hours of joy that you have given us in the cinema!! It has been a great honor and pleasure to have worked with you and to call you my friend. Congratulations to my dear friend Emily and the entire group of artists that created this movie. You were superb. We all loved ‘Disclosure Day’!!”
Speaking about the 2002 sci-fi thriller 'Minority Report', the two actors shared the screen in a tense futuristic setting where law enforcement tries to stop crimes before they happen using psychic predictions.
Cruise played John Anderton, a top officer in the PreCrime unit whose world falls apart when he is accused of a future murder, forcing him to go on the run to prove his innocence. Farrell played Danny Witwer, a young and sharp investigator from the Department of Justice.
