Cory Mills celebrates ‘Easter miracle’ as US rescues second F-15E airman in Iran

WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Cory Mills is celebrating the rescue of the missing F-15 co-pilot from Iran, calling the successful recovery of the F-15 crew member an "Easter miracle."

The rescue was confirmed by President Trump following what has been described as “one of the most daring search and rescue operations in US history” to bring the service member home.

Cory Mills praises military and admin for airman’s recovery 

Congressman Cory Mills expressed profound relief following the announcement that the second crew member had been successfully extracted from hostile territory. 

"Prayers have been answered as we learn the second US airman has been found. Thankful for our military and the administration’s unwavering commitment to bringing our service members home, and for all the brave men and women in uniform who put their lives on the line for our nation." Mills stated. 

The Congressman, a combat veteran, emphasized that the successful recovery demonstrates the "unmatched capability, precision, and determination" of the United States Armed Forces.

Mills continued to praise the bravery of the personnel involved in the mission, noting the specific timing of the recovery during the holiday weekend. 

He said, "What an Easter miracle and an incredible job by our US military in locating and rescuing the missing airman. This is what unmatched capability, precision, and determination look like. When Americans are in danger, we bring them home, no matter the odds. Proud of the men and women who made this mission a success." 

Trump confirms historic rescue 

President Trump announced the success of the mission, stating, "WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in US History." 

He revealed that the Colonel was rescued from the “treacherous mountains of Iran” while being pursued by enemies. 

Trump added, “This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation.”

He noted that, "This is the first time in military memory that two US Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory," while stating, "WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND!"

He declared that the success proves "overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies" and called for national unity, ending with, "GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!"
