Dakota Johnson calls working with longtime friend Taylor Swift on ‘Patient Zero’ video ‘so fun’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dakota Johnson recently opened up about her friendship with Taylor Swift.
The actress, 36, also raved about the Grammy winner’s work and creativity as she starred in Swift’s new song, ‘Patient Zero’.

Johnson, who will also be seen soon in ‘Verity’, spoke about her music video role during the upcoming film’s red carpet premiere in London on Thursday, September 24.
“Working with your friends is like the most fun thing on the planet because we’ve known each other for so long, we respect each other’s creative minds, and to be able to work alongside her and support and assist and be a person whom she tells what to do is wonderful,” she shared.

The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star also appeared on Ambar Lee and Leah Briars’ ‘Fangirl Nation’ podcast, where she once again talked about ‘Patient Zero’ and Swift.
She said, “Taylor and I have been friends for a really long time and we’re very close, and we decided to work together and it’s great,” before adding, “Normally I would say ‘Don’t work with your friends,’ but we work really well together. It was so fun. So fun. It was the best. We just had the best time.”

Johnson was also one of the many star guests at Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Months before the wedding, the pop icon had also praised her actress pal.
The ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker called Johnson “one of the most empathetic people I’ve ever known” as she wrote for TIME in April.
Swift also revealed that the ‘Madame Web’ star “can’t lie”, as she added, “But I’ll tell you a few more things she can’t do. She can’t stop asking people questions about their lives, endlessly curious about everyone else’s human experience. She can’t stop challenging herself, taking newer and bolder risks.”

Meanwhile, ‘Patient Zero’ was announced by Swift on Tuesday, and a day later, she also revealed her new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore’ — an expanded version of her earlier album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’.
Taking to her Instagram page, Swift wrote, “About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history.”
“I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album. Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs. I hope you love them,” she added.
