The duo recently opened up about the singer’s approach to the highly publicized split, praising both Roll and Bunnie for handling the situation with maturity and respect.

At the Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville, Smyers shared that he recently crossed paths with Roll and spoke about how the singer has been doing amid his divorce from Bunnie.

“I saw him the other night, actually. Yeah, I ran into him,” Smyers revealed. During the conversation, Smyers also praised Roll for a motivational social media post highlighting his fitness journey. “The post he did was amazing,” Smyers said, showing his support for Roll’s dedication and personal progress. 

Mooney also shared his thoughts on how Roll and Bunnie have handled their separation in the public eye. The singer praised the pair for remaining respectful throughout the difficult period. "They’ve handled it with class. It’s a tough thing to go through very, very publicly," Mooney said.

The couple’s decision to approach their divorce with understanding has drawn attention from fans. During a June 18 concert, Roll addressed their relationship, explaining that he and Bunnie continue to share a strong friendship despite their separation.

“Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends,” he told the audience. Roll clarified that infidelity was not a factor in their split, assuring fans that “nobody cheated on nobody” and addressing speculation surrounding their breakup.

According to court records, Roll and Bunnie officially separated on May 9, shortly before their 10th wedding anniversary. The divorce filing listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, stating that the couple was “unable to live together successfully as husband and wife.”

Bunnie has opened up about her emotions and experiences on her Dumb Blonde podcast, while Roll has also spoken about his struggles, personal growth, and adjusting to life during this new chapter. 

Roll has also opened up about his latest health challenge while continuing his weight loss journey amid his divorce from Bunnie. The country singer revealed that he has been dealing with overeating and stress eating, comparing the struggle to the addictive patterns he has previously worked hard to overcome.
