WASHINGTON, DC: Antonio Gracias, a volunteer at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), credited President Donald Trump for the success that DOGE claims to have had in checking 'wasteful' spending of the federal government, during his appearance on the Wednesday, March 2 episode of 'Fox & Friends.'

Over the weekend, Gracias, head of a private equity firm, had accompanied DOGE chair Elon Musk to a get-out-the-vote rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where they insisted that millions of non-citizens received Social Security during the presidency of Joe Biden.

The duo shared a chart that showed a steady year-over-year increase that reached more than 2 million in the fiscal year (FY) 2024. For FY 2023 and 2025, the chart showed approximately 1 million noncitizens getting Social Security numbers, even though FY 2025 has six more months to end.

Antonio Gracias's comments on Donald Trump and DOGE

Gracias, founder-CEO of Valor Equity Partners, hailed Trump for his steadfast support of DOGE while speaking with Fox News anchor Steve Doocy on Wednesday.

"None of this would have happened without President Trump," he stated. "President Trump had the courage to allow us to go across databases. He signed an executive order. It's never been done before, where agencies could talk to each other and databases could talk with each other."

"That allowed us to connect all this data, to find these people across the system, across the benefit system, all the way to the voting records. It really took a lot of courage."

He shared that more than five million undocumented immigrants entered the United States and received parole, following which they went through an automatic system to receive Social Security numbers and allied benefits.

"And just because we were curious, we then looked to see if they were on the voter rolls, and we found in a handful of cooperative states that there were thousands of them on the voter rolls and that many of them had voted," claimed Gracias.

When Doocy inquired of the amount of taxpayer dollars that DOGE saved on Social Security fraud alone, the volunteer replied, "It's in the billions. You saw the fraud on the phone lines itself. That was about $1.5 billion, and I would guess with Social Security already, we're north of $10 billion."

According to Fox News, DOGE claims to have removed approximately 7 million Social Security accounts belonging to people listed as being over 120 years old. Elon Musk further claimed that Social Security database audits found 20 million dead people marked as alive.

Internet wants DOGE to prove its claims

Netizens reacting to the news on the social media platform Facebook wanted DOGE to substantiate their claims by releasing proof for public verification. The following comments demonstrate the take.

"Where is the evidence?" asked a person.

"I will not believe any of this until I see it myself. Full transparency," shared another.

"With all this fraud, someone’s gotta get charged right?" quipped a third.

"Then show us the billions of dollars and where you found it. No Evidence Yet, Just pitchers of KoolAid," jibed a fourth.

"Show me the proof!!!! In writing!!!" exclaimed a fifth.

"Lies yet again. No proof, no money back to the Government, no charges. Just a performance for the MAGA base," chided yet another.
