Don Jr trolls 'neocons' after Trump announces Iran and Israel have agreed to ceasefire

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, took a jibe at "neocons" after the commander-in-chief announced that Iran and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire.

The POTUS took to his Truth Social account on Monday, June 23, and announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a "Complete and Total CEASEFIRE" for 12 hours, according to Raw Story.

Donald Trump wrote, "CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!"

"Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL," Trump continued.

The  79-year-old added, "On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, 'THE 12 DAY WAR'."

He concluded the post by writing, "This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!"

After his father's announcement, Don Jr took a jibe at neoconservatives and wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Neocons gonna go from celebrating to suicide watch in record time." 

Moreover, known conspiracy theorist Alex Jones said that the US "is not out of the woods yet," but hopes that Trump's plan is successful.

He wrote, "How dare us try to stop a GIGANTIC new war! How dare us be happy there is a cease-fire between Israel and Iran! The disgraced neocons of the George W. Bush and the Dick Cheney era are really trying to make a pathetic comeback right now."

Meanwhile, Fox News analyst Mark Levin seethed over Trump’s announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, complaining that “Adolf Hitler wasn’t thrown a lifeline” at the end of World War 2.

He reacted to the announcement on 'The Mark Levin Show' and said, "I hate this word ceasefire. The president hated it a few days ago too."

"What’s needed now is this, in my humble opinion. Iran should be forced to sign a surrender document. Unconditional surrender. They lost their nukes, they’ve lost their air force, they have no ground-to-air protection. China didn’t step in, Russia didn’t step in, not a single Arab country stepped in. The Supreme Nazi is hiding in a bunker much like Adolf Hitler did. Adolf Hitler wasn’t thrown a lifeline. He wasn’t thrown a lifeline. He was going to be killed, so he committed suicide," Levin added.

Internet sides with Donald Trump Jr as he mocks 'neocons'

Several internet users sided with Donald Trump Jr as he took a jibe at "neocons" after the presdient announced that Iran and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire.

An X user wrote, "Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize!! He’s so far beyond anyone else. Congress is angry that he didn’t consult with them but he doesn’t need Congress. He conducted a lawful targeted operation," while another added, "Your dad is kinda good at this stuff. I hope it sticks."

A person said, "Results! That's all he ever does. He simply delivers results!" whereas someone else mentioned, "President Trump with the W!"

"Anyone check on weird Uncle Lindsey?" an individual asked, poking fun at Lindsey Graham, while another said, "Indeed! Lindsey Graham is probably furious!"

An individual remarked, "I love every bit of it the neocon failure. God bless President Trump."
