PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former president Donald Trump boasted about his skills in name-calling others, attributing it to his "fertile mind." He made the bizarre remarks during his recent guest appearance on the 'PBD' podcast with entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David.

"I have a very fertile mind. I come up with very good names for people. Lots of good names," Trump told the host, according to OK Magazine.

Donald Trump's insulting nicknames for political opponents

Trump is infamous for giving weird nicknames for his political rivals, irrespective of their party affiliations.

From President Joe Biden to Trump's GOP primary opponent, Nikki Haley, many have been victims of the ex-president's skill. His lengthy speeches often would include an insulting moniker to whomever he wished to slam or mock, and he succeeded in planting the names in anyone's brain through repetition.

One of the recent victims of Trump's name-calling knack was Vice President Kamala Harris.

Ever since she came into the forefront of the 2024 race, the 45th president butchered her name. Starting with "laffin’ Kamala," mocking the way she laughs, and then "lying Kamala," he finally settled on "Kamabla," according to The Independent.

Meanwhile, Biden got more than one moniker from his predecessor. During the 2020 race, Trump deemed the Democrat as "sleepy Joe," which evolved into "crooked Joe" as they came face to face vying for a second White House term in 2024.

The former president did not shy away from disparaging members of the Republican Party for competing against him in the presidential primary.

For instance, Haley, who was the US ambassador under the Trump administration, was frequently called a "birdbrain" after she launched her unsuccessful presidential campaign.

Trump's former ally turned rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, was named "Ron DeSanctimonious," a name that often rolled out of the former's mouth on the campaign trail. However, he retreated from using the nickname after DeSantis ended his campaign and announced the endorsement.

The MAGA leader also insulted Democratic running mate Minnesota Gov Tim Walz over his bill for free access to menstrual products in schools. Trump claimed the VP nominee placed tampons in the boys' toilet and nicknamed him "Tampon Tim."

Internet slams Trump for boasting about his name-calling skills

Netizens called out Trump for bragging about his talent in name-calling others. Many claimed that the former president was acting like a school-going child.

"There's nothing like bragging about being a 78-year-old toddler," a user said.

"So do 5 year olds but they don’t brag about it," another remarked.

"If by, "very fertile mind", #DumbOldTrump means he has a head full of manure," added a third user.

"Not one of the qualifications for the presidency, but definitely that of a juvenile mind," read a fourth response.

"Sounds like he's ready to start first grade now! He's mastered kindergarten name calling!" an individual wrote.

"Being a childish bully is not the definition of a fertile mind. He has fertilizer for a brain, that we can agree on!" someone else chimed in.

"Fertile mind that’s a laugh, he comes up with very childish names for people because he is not a responsible adult," read another remark.

"This guy is not awake. He is wallowing in self-adoration. Can nobody see this?" one user wrote.
