Donald Trump insists Joe Rogan 'is not a Kamala person' as he pesters podcast host for endorsement

AUSTIN, TEXAS: GOP nominee Donald Trump pestered Joe Rogan for a public endorsement during his interview on the latter's podcast on Friday, October 25, reported TMZ.

The former president sat down with the host for a conversation on 'The Joe Rogan Experience' which spanned nearly three hours. According to The Hill, the discussion was long enough to make Trump late for his scheduled rally in Traverse City, Michigan, where he was set to appear later in the evening.

The endorsement from Rogan, a controversial media personality who is particularly popular with young men, would help the Trump campaign with its targeted demography. However, he has previously admitted to not being a Trump supporter, and it was the first time hosting the former president on his show.



 

Donald Trump seeks Joe Rogan's approval

While the conversation between Joe Rogan and Donald Trump covered different subjects, the former president brought up the endorsement he received from tech billionaire Elon Musk at one point, saying, "By the way, (Musk) gave me the nicest endorsement... He said the country is going to fail."

"You should do the same thing, Joe," continued Trump. "Because you cannot be voting for Kamala (Harris). You're not a Kamala person. I know you. I've watched you... Without speaking to you, I think I know you almost as well as your wife. I've watched you for so many years."

"You're not a Kamala person, you're a Khabib (Nurmagomedov, UFC fighter) person, but you're not a Kamala person," he added, making Rogan burst into laughter.

"Your weave is getting wide," the host quipped after regaining composure.



 

Donald Trump supporters refuse to accept he was asking for endorsement

Netizens, especially MAGA supporters, took to X (formerly Twitter) and claimed that Donald Trump had asked Joe Rogan to endorse him as a joke and was in no way pestering him.

"He didn’t pester him at all…he mentioned it once for like ten seconds and they both laughed," wrote a social media user.



 

"I don’t think Joe will endorse anyone, but you rarely get anything you don’t ask for," shared another.



 

"It was all fun and games…stop trying to make it something it is not!" one person expressed.



 

"We all know Joe is voting Trump," claimed another.



 

"So dumb. He was saying it in a joking manner. It was funny," one individual wrote.
