PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: On Wednesday evening biographer Tim O'Brien made an appearance on MSNBC and spoke about how Donald Trump’s mind works when he’s faced with an obstacle or a setback in real life.

According to O'Brien, former President Donald Trump tends to resort to a particular menacing remark when he perceives that he can no longer manipulate the situation he’s been dealt with.

Per RawStory, the former president is currently facing a growing number of legal challenges, both civil and criminal, and very few of them appear to be unfolding in his favor.

What did O’Brien say about Donald Trump on Wednesday?

MSNBC host Joy Reid said, "Trump was supposed to testify in his other case he's freaking out about, the money case in ... New York. He's not going to testify anymore because the rules said he couldn't go and do a political speech and he couldn't yell at the clerk. And so, he's like, no. I'm not — he was never going to testify. Let's just be clear."

O'Brien concurred with Reid’s point of view and claimed, "Well, the only reason he was there was to engage in political theatre.”

"He doesn't know anything about how court processes work. Yesterday after the hearing, he said there's 'bedlam' if these courts prosecute me, there will be bedlam," he noted.

O’Brien continued, "He has used that word throughout his whole career any time the system comes at him in a way he doesn't like. When (former New York City Mayor) Ed Koch refused to zone a piece of property Trump wanted on the West Side, he said, there's bedlam in New York, I couldn't get zoned."

"He has no sense of proportion, and he's got no sense of civility or the rule of law. So he'll simply say, it's chaos because I'm not getting what I want," he added.

Internet trolls Trump

People on social media are becoming wary of the former President’s tactlessness when he’s faced with a challenge or a setback he doesn’t like.

One X user remarked: “When people show you who they are, believe them."

"Threat? Does it involve holding his breath and stamping his feet?" a Facebook user quipped.

Another person stated: "He acts the way most bullies and wannabe Dictators do, threatening anybody who dares stand up to him. He is the single most dangerous threat to our Democracy!"

One user commented: "He is about finished .AND AMERICA CANNOT WAIT."

Another user wrote: "He is a loser. A confirmed loser! Let's watch his antics after he is convicted in the criminal case in D.C. He will be at the end of the road and he will begin lashing out and thrashing about in such ways that the court will have no option but to lock him up. There will be dancing in the streets!"

Finally, this user remarked: "He’s a spoiled brat that never grew up"
