LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon recently took a comedic jibe at former President Donald Trump amid reports of his "agitated and upset" demeanor during an immunity hearing.

As Trump faces legal scrutiny, Fallon, known for his sharp wit and humor, seized the opportunity to provide his own unique commentary on the unfolding events, leaving his audience in splits.

Drama at Trump's immunity hearing

Reports emerged detailing Trump's apparent discomfort during an immunity hearing, with witnesses describing him as "agitated and upset." As per CNBC, Trump was "visibly agitated" while the DOJ was arguing against his presidential immunity claim.

He reportedly "abruptly became anxious and upset" when James Pearce, the DOJ's lawyer, was making his arguments.

Fallon wasted no time in incorporating this into his monologue, using his platform to add a touch of humor to the serious legal proceedings, keeping his audience up-to-date with current events while making them laugh.

Jimmy Fallon's comedic take

During a recent episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', the host couldn't resist addressing the news about Trump's demeanor at the immunity hearing.

Fallon, with his characteristic wit and charm, quipped about Trump's reactions and provided a light-hearted take on the unfolding legal drama.

"Former president Trump attended a court hearing over whether he has presidential immunity. Yeah, another court hearing for Trump at this point the courtroom sketch artist doesn't even draw him. She just traces the grooves in her desk," Fallon joked, drawing laughter from his audience.

He also joked, "Trump is in court so often, he enrolled in PreCheck so he can zip through security."

Jimmy Fallon talks about Trump's expression

Fallon didn't stop at the initial punchline, as he delved into the specifics of Trump's reported agitation.

He continued, "During the hearing, Trump appeared visibly agitated, and several times he "abruptly became anxious and upset." Eventually, his lawyer handed him an iPad that was playing his favorite episode of 'Bluey'." Then pretending to be Trump, he said, "I need Bluey!" combining current events with his well-known impersonation of Trump's speaking style.

Fallon continued, "During the hearing one of the judges called Trump's legal argument paradoxical. Then both Trump and his lawyer looked at each other hoping the other knew what the word meant." He once again imitated the former president as he joked, "Paradoxical, I think it was a dinosaur. I don't think you pronounce the p actually."

Navigating the legal landscape

In a more satirical vein, Fallon explored the legal implications of Trump's demeanor at the immunity hearing. "Experts say Trump's argument is a long shot, but he's really into the idea of presidential immunity. Check out what he said."

Fallon then pretended to seriously provide some quotes by Trump for context, "First he said, 'All legal charges against me, Donald Trump, should be dropped, because I have first presidential immunity.' Then he said, 'That's right. I have the immunity necklace from 'Survivor'. So the Tribal Council can't say I did anything wrong'." Fallon twisted the narrative from serious to humorous as he mocked Donald Trump.

The late-night show host continued, "Then he said, 'I also found the immunity idol in a remote, tropical location known as Epstein's Island. That's the only reason I was down there. To get this beautiful immunity idol. No other reason'.

"And finally he said, 'Now, I am absolutely untouchable. Just ask Melania, she calls me that all the time. UNTOUCHABLE! The tribe has spoken'," Fallon quipped, making light of the serious nature of the situation.

Social media pours in praise for Jimmy Fallon

As news of Donald Trump's reported agitation during the immunity hearing circulated, social media became a hotbed of reactions, ranging from satirical critiques to humorous commentary.

One user speculated, "Imagine the conservative response if you said Bill should be exempt of any epstien charges because of presidential immunity."

Another added, "My wife told me I'm in trouble. I told her I've got immunity. She reminded me that even Trump is an idiot and has no immunity."

A third user humorously quipped, "Trump wouldn't understand Bluey. Too intellectual for him." One person also wrote, "Excellent monologue!! Happy New Year!"

"His impersonation of trump is spot on lol," added another. "Trump's middle name is "Courthouse"," joked a person in the comments.
