WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump's 2024 campaign video is making headlines for its unusual biblical references portraying him as a divine figure.

In the nearly three-minute-long video posted on his Truth Social account, the former President called himself a "Messiah" and "caretaker" of the country.

Captioned "GOD MADE TRUMP," the campaign video is an adaptation of radio broadcaster Paul Harvey's 'So God Made a Farmer' speech.

In the over-the-top video, the Republican frontrunner highlighted himself as "God's chosen caretaker for America."

The video started by mentioning his birth date, June 14, 1946, suggesting that god, at that time, looked upon paradise and determined the need for a caretaker for the nation.

It described him as a "man who cares for the flock," also calling him "a shepherd to mankind who won't ever leave or forsake them."

Echoing the teachings of Christian nationalists, the Trump campaign team released the video amid his ongoing legal battles and disqualifications from primary ballots in Maine and Colorado.

As the SCOTUS has decided to hear his appeal against the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling, Trump is attempting to take every possible way to maintain his dominance ahead of the upcoming Iowa GOP caucus.

Video boasts of Donald Trump's accomplishments and strengths

The video bragged about how the former President worked hard, emphasizing that god required someone willing to rise before dawn, work tirelessly to address the country's issues, combat Marxism, and participate in late-night meetings with heads of state.

"I need somebody with arms strong enough to wrestle the deep state, and yet gentle enough to deliver his own grandchild," 'god's voice' said in the clip.

It continued, "Somebody to ruffle the feathers. Tame the cantankerous World Economic Forum. Come home hungry. Have to wait until the First Lady is done with lunch with friends. Then tell the ladies to be sure and come back real soon and mean it. So God gave us Trump."

Continuing with the former President's accomplishments, the voice added, "I need somebody who can shape an ax but wield a sword, who had the courage to step foot in North Korea."

It also bragged about Trump's understanding of the economy, indicating Trump knows the between tariffs and inflation.

It further claimed that god needed someone who "will finish this 40-hour week by Tuesday noon, but then put in another 72 hours. So God made Trump."

The video also had images of him standing next to his attorney, Alina Habba, in the New York Civil Court.

The video ended by saying he attends Church every Sunday, and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, urged him to make America great again and build a country that will envy the world.

Internet calls Trump's biblical ad 'ridiculous'

Netizens were baffled by the bizarrely exaggerated campaign ad video portraying Trump as a god-sent leader. Disagreeing with the claims, social media users labeled him anything but the opposite of a divine figure.

One user wrote, "Trump is a charlatan, a con man, and a danger to Mankind. Periodt."

Another user remarked, "Right? I'd find him embarrassing even if I liked him. But he's not just embarrassing. He's vile & deluded."

"He is definitely a mess," added a third user. Another reaction read, "This ad is utterly ridiculous. Unbelievable. What a joke."

A fifth user noted, "His show needs cancelling." "No thank you, that's the stuff nightmares are made of," another person added. One response read, "Says the man who can't tell you anything about the bible."

"Trump is finally doing what most of us have been sensing and expecting: presenting himself as a “biblical” figure. He’s been priming MAGA for this for some time now," another interjected.
