Donald Trump praises 'very handsome' Prince William after their Paris meet: 'He looked great'
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: President-elect Donald Trump praised Prince William and called him 'a good-looking guy' after the two sat down for a meeting in Paris this weekend.
The duo sat down together on Saturday, December 7, as foreign dignitaries flocked to Paris to celebrate the re-opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral after a fire destroyed parts of the historic building in 2019, according to the Independent.
Donald Trump praises 'very handsome' Prince William
Donald Trump told the New York Post, "He's a good-looking guy. He looked really, very handsome last night. Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that."
Notably, the president-elect and Prince William spent around two hours together at the residence of the UK ambassador in the Salon Jaune room. Trump called their chat a "great talk."

Their conversation reportedly focused on some personal issues, including Kate Middleton and King Charle's battle with cancer. Kate underwent “preventative chemotherapy” and was announced as cancer-free in September.
Trump told the outlet, "I asked him about his wife and he said she's doing well. And I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad."
Interestingly, Trump has long been a fan of the royal family. During a visit with Queen Elizabeth II, Trump said he tried to convince the queen to tell him who her favorite US president or UK prime minister was but failed in doing so.
Trump said the Queen insisted that she "liked them all," although he added: "Many people have said I was her favorite president."
Apart from praising Prince William, Trump also complimented French President Emmanuel Macron on the restoration of Notre Dame. He said, "He's a good man, he did a good job. I told him: 'You have no idea how good a job you did' on that chapel. That's very hard to do. Painstaking'."
Body language expert claims Donald Trump was 'parental' toward Prince William
Body language expert Judi James asserted that Donald Trump dropped his "usual power-posturing" and became "parental" with Prince William during the monumental Notre Dame Cathedral reopening ceremony.
James added that the president-elect's behavior toward the prince was "friendly, almost parental" throughout the day. The body language expert told Daily Mail, "Trump uses several touch rituals with William to suggest a friendly, almost parental approach, even adding some verbal endorsements as though William needed his approval."

James continued, "With William he became more familiar and friendly [...], patting him on the shoulder as they shook hands and then adding an extra, warmer touch with one hand under the elbow to signal that familiarity and support."
The body language expert also observed, "Trump seemed to switch out of political mode with William and to suggest something more like a family vibe. The hand clasp was a firm one but with no power-posturing, and it was William's thumb clamping the clasp at the top."
Donald Trump supporters chime in as he praises Prince William

Look at all that he has accomplished and isn't even in the White House yet!!"
A person also stated, "Big sigh of relief for European leaders. Depends on a sleeping Joe are a thing of the past," whereas one mentioned, "Imagine having a US president representing us at a foreign event once again who doesn’t mindlessly wander off on his own."
