Jon Stewart mocks Donald Trump's 'weird' handshake habit after former POTUS' weekend trip to France
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The Daily Show' host Jon Stewart took a jibe at President-elect Donald Trump for his 'f*****g weird' habit of shaking hands after his recent weekend visit to France for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Stewart played a montage of Trump's interactions with world leaders and continued to troll the president-elect for also promoting his new 'Fight, Fight, Fight' colognes, according to HuffPost.

Jon Stewart said during the show in the time stamp 11:07, "Donald Trump, this weekend, was in Europe, continuing the long American tradition of not waiting for the inauguration to become president and head overseas and meet with allies and remind everybody how f*****g weird he is about shaking hands."
He continued, "Top-down, up down, bottom, side to side, grab it, hit me on the flippety. And how seamlessly Trump resumed his official duties of looking bored as s**t in the meetings. This is so dumb."
Taking the jibe further, Stewart said, "Now, normally, the first lady, Melania, would have been there to say to Donald Trump 'sit up'. But in another stroke of weirdness, Trump was traveling with his predecessor's wife, attending the opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral with Jill Biden."
He then mentioned the recent cologne ad that Trump posted on his Truth Social account that had a picture of the president-elect and Jill Biden along with the text on the picture "A fragrance your enemies can't resist."
Stewart trolled Trump for this and said, "You f*****g won. You won. You don't have to push merch anymore."
MAGA Republican defends Trump for his handshake with French president
Rep Anna Paulina Luna gave Donald Trump a glowing review when asked about his awkward handshake with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Notably, Trump and Macron shared an intense handshake on Saturday, December 7, as they attended the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Fox News host Jesse Watters asked Luna, "When you see the video of Trump grab Macron like this and just yank — grab it and twist it, what message does that send?"
Luna answered, "It's the alpha energy that the world needs right now. After four years of Joe Biden and terrible foreign policy, I think not just the United States but the world was ready to take the reigns and get us back to some form of normalcy. because we could not handle another four years."
Moreover, she speculated that had Trump lost the election, the United States would've found itself in "World War III". She said, "That could've happened easily, and it's getting closer by the day."
