WASHINGTON, DC:  Former president Donald Trump revealed on Thursday, October 10, that his daughter Tiffany Trump is pregnant.

He made the announcement while delivering remarks at the Detroit Economic Club where he acknowledged several guests in the audience, including businessman Massad Boulos, Tiffany's father-in-law.

Tiffany Trump, 30, is the daughter of Donald Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples.

She and Michael Boulos tied the knot in 2022, a wedding that was nearly derailed by Hurricane Nicole.

"He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy,” Trump said.

He continued, “And she’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice," according to The Hill.

Tiffany and Michael Boulos first met in 2018 while on a vacation in Mykonos, Greece, according to Page Six. Boulos, whose family is of Lebanese origin, attended an elite international school in Nigeria.

His family founded Boulos Enterprises and the publicly traded conglomerate SCOA Nigeria.

Marla Maples opens up on raising Tiffany Trump away from spotlight 

After divorcing Donald Trump in 1999, Marla Maples raised Tiffany Trump primarily in California, choosing to keep her away from the spotlight.

In a 2023 interview with People, Maples opened up about the experience of being a single parent.

“Her daddy is a good provider with education and such, but as far as time, it was just me,” Maples said, adding “Her father wasn’t able to be there with day-to-day skills as a parent. He loves his kids. There’s no doubt. But everything was a bit of a negotiation.”

Tiffany also expressed her appreciation for the upbringing her mother provided. In an interview with publication, she said, "...she wanted me to have a chance to have a normal childhood. As normal as possible. I think that she did well in that."

Tiffany Trump’s public appearances and personal life

Although Tiffany Trump has largely stayed out of the public eye, she gave a rare speech during the 2020 Republican National Convention.

During the speech, she shared her views on hope and faith, stating, "Having hope is not weakness," adding "believing in miracles is a gift from God."

Trump had reportedly called El Salvador, Haiti, and unspecified nations in Africa “s ***thole countries.” Back in 2018, she said about a meeting on immigration, “Why are we having all these people from s S****hole countries come here?” according to People.

Nigeria was outraged and responded by saying that the comment was “deeply hurtful, offensive and unacceptable” if true, and demanded clarification from US officials.
