Is Tiffany Trump joining 'DWTS'? Here's why the speculation might be true
LOA ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumors indicate that Tiffany Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, could be joining the cast of the upcoming season of 'Dancing with the Stars' (DWTS).
An anonymous post on Crazy Days and Nights, a blind-item site, read, "This seems like an awful idea, but it is being tossed about. An offspring of a former A++ lister and a step offspring of a wannabe A++ lister would join the cast [of] the network dance show which will be airing right through the election."
Gossip is intensifying around the blind item post speculating about the "offspring" mentioned. A TikTok video suggested that the likely candidates could be Tiffany Trump or Ella Emhoff, the step-daughter of Vice President Kamala Harris.
The video indicated that an article about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris was linked to the anonymous remark, leading to suspicions that Tiffany and Emhoff are the subjects, according to entertainment website Nicki Swift.
Tiffany Trump is not the first Trump to join 'DWTS'
Tiffany wouldn’t be the first member of the Trump family to join 'Dancing with the Stars.' Her mother, Marla Maples, Trump's second wife, appeared on the show in 2016.
"She has been training hard. She just got started, but I definitely have some faith in her. She is an amazing dancer. She is a great athlete. She is ready for this," Tiffany then told Inside Edition, showing support for her mother. Thus, it is likely the real estate mogul's daughter may seek advice from her mother.
Maples was devastated after being eliminated from the dance show in Week 4. “This experience taught me not just how to walk again but how to dance. I really hoped to continue and keep sharing the fun,” the billionaire's ex-wife told 'Good Morning America' in April 2016.
In addition to Tiffany’s mother, Trump's first wife, Ivana Trump, participated as a guest competitor in the semi-final round of the Italian version of 'Dancing with the Stars' in 2018, according to People.
Trump's family's reality TV legacy
The Trump family is no stranger to being a part of reality TV. Tiffany's father co-produced and hosted 'The Apprentice,' a business reality program for the first fourteen seasons.
The show, which aired on NBC, played a crucial role in making the former president a familiar figure among Americans before he ventured into the political arena.
Trump also starred in 'The Celebrity Apprentice' until he was fired in 2015.
The ex-president hoped to keep the Trump name prominent on the reality show and wanted his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, to replace him after his departure in 2015.
According to the recent book 'Apprentice in Wonderland,' Trump sought to have Ivanka take over his role on 'The Apprentice' because "it became like a family thing."
He also envisioned Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr joining as boardroom advisers.
In light of this legacy, it is possible that Tiffany might be a part of the upcoming cast of 'DWTS.'
