Donald Trump reveals where son Barron will attend college but refrains from disclosing name of university
HOWELL, MICHIGAN: Donald Trump recently spoke about his youngest son Barron’s higher education plans but did not reveal too much.
Speaking with The New York Post before his campaign stop in Michigan, the former president said that the 18-year-old would attend a university in New York.
Donald Trump says son Barron has ‘always been a very good student’
“He’s all set in a certain school that’s very good,” Donald Trump shared.
However, when asked about the name of the selected university, he just smiled and added, “He’s always been a very good student, he’s smart.”
The teenager graduated from his school in May this year. His father earlier reportedly said that he sometimes gives his advice to him in politics.
The Republican leader had said, “He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy. And he’s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny.”
“He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do,’” he added.
Trump’s granddaughter Kai thanked him for giving her 'access to great courses'
Apart from Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai will also be attending a university soon.
In an Instagram post, the 17-year-old wrote, “I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami. I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point.”
She continued, “I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support. I would also like to thank my Mormor for always believing in me. I would also like to thank my entire family for always encouraging and pushing me to be the best person I can possibly be."
“I would like to thank my friends for always cheering me on. Last but not least I would love to thank Coach Janice and Coach Jim for giving me this opportunity,” she continued.
“I am supper excited to be a cane and represent the University of Miami. Gooo Canes!” Kai added.
Internet wishes Barron Trump well as he's set to attend college soon
People online have shared their well-wishes for Barron Trump after his father Donald revealed that the 18-year-old is set to attend college soon.
In the comments section of the New York Post article, one reader wrote, “Barron seems like a nice young man, and I wish him much success. While I don't like some of his dad's personal behavior and manner, I will vote for him due to his policies, especially on the economy. I do give the credit to Melania for raising a good man, something in seemingly short supply these days.”
Another commented, “I wish Barron all the best. I hope he has a great roommate and they become good friends. I hope he enjoys his professors, classmates, and daily instruction. I hope he LOVES his college major and never cuts classes. May he make the Dean’s List every semester. I hope he makes lots of wonderful friends and his university days are happy. Y’all—we need to wish for Barron every success that we would wish for our own offspring. He’s 18 years old and so many folks he encounters be kind, or unkind, or indifferent. May he receive awesome goody packages and no agitators…”
“So happy for Barron. He has risen above all of the haters and has pressed on to become a well-educated young man. All the best to him in his college endeavors!” one person stated.
Another added, “He carries himself very well and seems like a brilliant young man. May he have a prosperous future.”
One individual wrote, “Baron has the benefit of two loving parents, and the best education that money can buy. He will be fine. That is what we all want for our children.”
