PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Donald Trump mistakenly referred to Arizona as Texas during a rally in Phoenix, raising eyebrows and prompting a wave of reactions on social media.

"Here in Texas," the former president said in the speech in Arizona on Thursday, June 6, according to OK Magazine.

11 people hospitalized at Donald Trump's Arizona rally due to heat exhaustion

The Arizona rally, part of Trump's ongoing campaign efforts, was marred by more than just the verbal slip.

As MEAWW previously reported, extreme heat conditions in Phoenix led to several rally attendees suffering from heat-related health issues including some people fainting and being rushed to the hospital.

At least 11 people were hospitalized for treatment, according to Phoenix fire officials.

Speaking about the scene, Ben Brown from Arizona's ABC15 said, “I’ve seen so far at least 3 people carried off on stretches due to the heat as they wait in line in the sun to get into Donald Trump’s event … it’s 102 degrees out."

Health concerns over Donald Trump's recent public appearances

In the past few weeks, Trump has sparked health concerns. During a recent interview with Sean Hannity, viewers noticed that the 77-year-old politician appeared disoriented.

In the interview, Trump said, "I say a lot of things," while Hannity replied, "Stay focused for just a second.'"

During a recent town hall speech, the former president appeared to slur his words and had erratic shifts in topic.

While discussing immigration, Trump stated, "When I'm president, I will use Title 42 to end the try..." but abruptly changed direction mid-sentence and confusingly told the event attendees, "We need to do this."

These incidents have fueled questions about Trump's mental acuity and his ability to endure a rigorous campaign cycle for the upcoming presidential election.

The presumptive GOP nominee's health and public appearances will likely remain under intense scrutiny.

Internet trolls Donald Trump as he mistakes Arizona for Texas during rally

Reacting to Trump's Arizona-Texas gaffe, one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "Trump: "...here in Texas." My guy, you are in Arizona. His brain is cooked."

"OMG... he doesn't even know where he is. Biden is fine," a netizen commented while another user wrote, "He is really unfit to be anything other than a convicted felon."

One user tweeted, "Fried might be a better description," and another user wrote, "I doubt he knows who he is most of the time."
