NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: As Donald Trump attended the Super Bowl 2025, he became the first sitting president of the United States to ever attend the NFL’s biggest clash of the year. However, it was not the only reason why his attendance created a social media frenzy recently.

As the images of President Trump from the event made rounds of social media, several users called him out for sporting his signature tan, as several viewers found it to be too “orange.”

The 78-year-old GOP leader became one of the focal points of the electrifying clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles when he appeared at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday, February 9.

One of the social media users even took to their X account, to ask, "Who the f**k wears this much makeup to a football game?" while posting a zoomed-in picture of Trump’s face highlighting his bronzer, as reported by OK! Magazine.

Also, Trump claimed that the Chiefs would win the Lombardi Trophy, making three-peat in a row, his prediction failed, and the Philadelphia Eagles went home as the winner.

Referencing Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes (who is a huge Trump supporter), the president shared, "I just say that I watched this great quarterback who has, by the way, a phenomenal wife, okay. She’s a Trump fan, she’s a MAGA fan. So I happen to love her okay.”

"I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as he’s won, I have to go with Kansas City — I have to go with Kansas City," continued the Republican, before adding diplomatically, "At the same time, Philadelphia is just fantastic."

While Trump vouched for his support for the Chiefs, and especially Mahomes and his wife, he wasn’t that sympathetic to the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

After the 14-time Grammy winner was mercilessly booed by the Eagles-heavy New Orleans crowd, Trump took to his Truth Social on Sunday to write, "The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!"

Donald Trump mocked for his 'orange' face at Super Bowl

Donald Trump's look elicited a plethora of responses from users who highlighted his “strange” look while suggesting that someone from his team should ask him to stop.

One of the netizens moaned on X, "🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG Why doesn’t somebody stop him!"

"He thought he was going to the orange bowl 🥣," quipped someone else.

Another social media user chimed in, "😆 Maybe the real reason he is deporting so many is that he wants to be the only face in the country tanned to that level."

"He looked like he just did spray tan in an old booth .. his people should tell him it looks strange," declared another fan.

Someone else even showed an interest in knowing what products he uses, writing, "What kind of setting spray does he use to keep it off his white collar."

A user said, "I think he wanted to match the football."

"Usually the face paint is at least the teams colors...," added another user.
