WASHINGTON, DC: Former president and GOP nominee Donald Trump has warned Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg of life imprisonment if the latter chooses to conspire against him in the upcoming general election in his new book set to be published on September 3.

The coffee table book titled 'Save America' and published by Winning Team Publishing contains Trump repeating his accusation that Zuckerberg influenced the 2020 presidential election. It came at a time when META assured conservatives of the steps they had taken so as not to have any partisan influence during this election cycle, reported Politico.

Trump wrote under a picture of his meeting with Zuckerberg in the White House, that the Meta founder "would come to the Oval Office to see me. He would bring his very nice wife to dinners, be as nice as anyone could be, while always plotting to install shameful Lock Boxes in a true PLOT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT."

According to Politico, it was a reference to a $420 million contribution made by Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan to fund election infrastructure in 2020.

“He told me there was nobody like Trump on Facebook. But at the same time, and for whatever reason, steered it against me,” Trump continued. “We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time, he will spend the rest of his life in prison — as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election.”

Trump has leveled similar accusations against the tech billionaire earlier, posting on Truth Social back in July that he would pursue “ELECTION FRAUDSTERS at levels never seen before, and they will be sent to prison for long periods of time. We already know who you are. DON’T DO IT! ZUCKERBUCKS, be careful!”
