LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Donald Trump has issued a warning to Taylor Swift following her endorsement of his political opponent Kamala Harris.

On Wednesday, September 11, Trump said the pop star would "probably pay a price" for her decision to back Harris after their debate the night before.

Donald Trump said that Taylor Swift had no choice but to endorse Kamala Harris over Joe Biden.

“It was just a question of time. She couldn’t possibly endorse Biden … You look at Biden, you couldn’t possibly endorse him,” Trump said.

He described Swift as “a very liberal person” and expressed his belief that she will have to "pay a price for it."

"She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace,” he added, according to Fox News.

Moreover, Trump admitted that he was not a fan of the pop star. “I actually like Mrs Mahomes much better. She’s a big Trump fan,” Trump said, referencing Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Brittany Mahomes had previously signaled her support for Donald Trump when she liked one of his Instagram posts outlining the "2024 GOP platform."

After facing criticism, Mahomes responded on her Instagram Stories, writing, "I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."

Taylor Swift clarifies AI endorsement for Donald Trump

Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president just moments after the latter's debate with the former president.

In a post on Instagram, Swift stated that she would be voting for Harris because she “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

Swift went on to explain that she had done her research before making her choice. “I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,” Taylor said.

She also addressed recent confusion surrounding an AI-generated endorsement for Trump, which Trump had touted as real. Writing on Truth Social, Trump said, “I accept.”

However, Swift clarified in her post, “I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site."

She further explained, "It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter."

Elon Musk trolls Taylor Swift for endorsing Donald Trump

Meanwhile, Elon Musk took a jab at Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris. Responding to the singer's Instagram post where she signed off as “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady,” Musk posted on X, “Fine Taylor—you win—I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

However the jab at Swift fired back as fans labled him "creepy."
