WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump’s height is once again back under public scrutiny after the results of his physical exam was made public on Sunday, April 13.

While the report, signed by the physician to the president, Capt Sean Barbabella, substantiated the 78-year-old president’s claim that he stands tall at 6’3”, but it did little to dissipate the public scrutiny over his height

The annual physical examination report listed Trump's height as 75 inches or 6’3” and his weight as 224 lbs.

Donald Trump has previously faced scrutiny over his height

The report issued by the Walter Reed physician, and addressed to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, stated that the president is in "excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State," as per the Irish Star.

Trump unwent a nearly five-hour medical examination at the Walter Reed hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, on Friday.

This is not the first time that the president's height has been under scrutiny.

Back in December 2024, Trump was scrutinized for his height when pictures of him standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Prince William, also reported to be 6’3”, came forward.

Trump met with the Prince of Wales during the reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame in Paris, France, where the duo posed for photographs together.

However, netizens were quick to point out the apparent height disparity between them, as the future King of England appeared taller than the MAGA leader despite their officially listed heights being the same.

Nevertheless, some users defended Trump and said that he was shrinking because of his age, and William is still in his prime.

Moreover, Trump’s height further came into question when the Republican was photographed alongside his predecessor, Joe Biden, during the January 2025 inauguration. The same height difference was questioned back in November 2024 as well when the duo had a meeting in the White House.

Though Biden's height is listed as 6’, netizens found no noticeable difference between the heights of the two presidents.

Internet is still not convinced about Donald Trump's height

Even though the results of Donald Trump's physical tests were revealed on Sunday, the internet was not impressed. While his height has been mentioned as 75 inches, or 6'3", several netizens refused to believe the statistics, as they took to social media to put forward their speculations.

One wrote, "The doctor's report from the annual physical of Donald Trump claims he is 6'3" and weighs 224 lbs. Zero chance. It's as laughable as when they claimed he weighed 215," referring to the stats given by Trump last year about his weight.

Another noted, "His height is definitely wrong, he's the same height as his wife and she's 5,9. All just fake to try and hide the obvious."

"So Barron reported to be 80ins, Melania 71ins. Everyone can see Trump is not 75ins," chimed in another critic.

Someone else pointed out, "No way he is more than 6'. And even at 224 (which he is NOT), that would be considered obese. He's probably closer to 250. Considering they lie about basic facts, everything else in the report should not be believed."

Another user shared two images of Trump standing beside Prince William, who is reported to be 6'3", highlighting their difference in height, writing, "Prince William is 6’3” tall."

"I wish he would just post a picture of himself standing next to a 6’ 3”, 224 lb athlete for a laugh," another comment read.

"I don't know who this guy is, but he should be running marathons," one more quipped, casting doubt on the listed statistics.
