NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Political commentator Megyn Kelly and her husband Douglas Brunt recently weighed in on former professional football quarterback Tom Brady’s appearance during the Gucci Cruise 2027 runway show in New York City.
During the Tuesday, May 19, episode of Kelly’s self-titled series, the couple discussed the former NFL star’s all-leather outfit and his modeling debut at the high-profile fashion event. The couple also speculated about changes in his appearance, leading to a controversial comparison involving media personality Caitlyn Jenner.

During the discussion, The duo criticized Brady’s Gucci runway appearance, which featured a black leather jacket, fitted leather pants, and shiny black shoes. Kelly recalled first meeting him when he co-chaired the Met Gala in 2017 and admitted she was not impressed with his recent fashion choice.
She said the outfit “doesn’t look like anything any man would want to wear on a cruise” and questioned, “Who wears head-to-toe leather on a cruise?” Brunt, however, clarified that he has long admired him and described him as “mentally tough.”
He also remembered the retired quarterback looking “handsome” when they met years ago. Despite praising Brady’s achievements and resilience, he claimed the athlete now gives him “Caitlyn Jenner vibes," and asked, “Does anybody else see it? I don’t know why no one’s saying it.”
The comments came after Brady walked the runway in Times Square on Saturday, May 16. The event attracted major celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey, as he made his modeling debut for the luxury fashion house.
He is no stranger to the fashion world, having co-founded the namesake activewear and athleisure brand BRADY. Speaking to WSJ Magazine at the time of the brand’s launch, his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, described the him as a “fashionista.”

Kelly also questioned whether Brady may have undergone cosmetic procedures to alter his appearance. While discussing the athlete’s face, she suggested that weight loss alone may not explain the changes she noticed.
Kelly revealed that she had asked one of her dermatologists about his appearance, though she acknowledged the doctor had not personally examined him and was only offering an “armchair opinion.” According to her, the dermatologist believed there were signs of “feminization surgery” visible in his facial structure.
She also pointed to his “higher cheeks” and “more angled chin,” questioning whether the changes resulted from “working out and weight loss” or if Brady had undergone “a little surgery to make himself look a little more feminine, more pretty, more looksmaxxing.”
Kelly further claimed Brady was no “stranger to the plastic surgeon’s office,” though she stressed the comments reflected only her personal opinion. She stated, “I don’t think this evolution has happened naturally.”
