Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin welcome first child together after three years of marriage

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, after nearly three years of marriage. ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ star and the Victoria's Secret model took to Instagram on September 28 to make a joint announcement of the arrival of their child.

The announcement comes after the pair, who have been married since July 2023, revealed their pregnancy while attending the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in May. At the time, Palvin debuted her baby bump on the red carpet with Sprouse by her side.

Sprouse and Palvin announced the birth of their child by sharing an adorable photo of the family of three on Instagram. The photo showed the couple and their baby girl in Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys, posing in front of a TV broadcasting a game.

The ‘Banana Split’ actor held the newborn in his arms while catching the game on TV as Palvin lovingly looked on. The Instagram post also featured a humorous caption that read, “We took Labor Day literally this year.”

While the new parents announced the birth of their first child, they are yet to reveal the baby girl’s name or face. After debuting her baby bump at Cannes in May, Palvin also made the pregnancy announcement on social media, writing, “So grateful to everyone for getting the three of us ready last night.”

Sprouse and Palvin began dating in 2018 after meeting at a party in 2017. The pair got engaged in 2023 and tied the knot nearly a month later at an intimate wedding ceremony in Hungary.

Following the pregnancy announcement, Sprouse also revealed the baby’s gender during an appearance on the ‘Wildmen Podcast’ with Brendan Columbus. “We are having a baby girl, which I’m very excited about,” Sprouse said at the time. “I’m excited to be a girl dad, actually… I just unironically love a tea party,” he added. 

Meanwhile, Palvin opened up about ‘spiraling’ over her body image during the early stages of the pregnancy. “The number on the scale really going up super quick and my arms are getting bigger. You don’t have a bump yet, but your stomach is bigger, and your pants don’t fit. I started spiraling,” she said on the same podcast.

However, she mentioned that having a “good partner” like Sprouse is “important” during such personal milestones, as he “was there reminding me every single time that we’re creating life.”
