LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ellen DeGeneres requested Sean 'Diddy' Combs, to come to her party during an old episode of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’

In February 2018, the controversial rapper was a guest on DeGeneres’ talk show. 

The clip of the episode has now resurfaced on TikTok as the embattled record producer remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, The New York Post reported.



 

Ellen DeGeneres says party only starts when Sean 'Diddy' Combs arrives

The video shows Ellen DeGeneres making fun of Sean 'Diddy' Combs for coming to her show. She goes on to ask him if he would repeat the same behavior at her upcoming party.

“Are you gonna be early for my party?” the 66-year-old TV host and actress asked him, to which, he replied, “Yes I am - no - you know I have to arrive fashionably late.”

DeGeneres then said, “Not too late, though - please.”

The record executive went on to ask the comedian, “What time would you like me there?”

DeGeneres said, “I’ll tell you later. But not too late. Cause, you know, once you get there the party really starts, you know what I'm saying?”

“Yeah ... I got you - I promise you I'm not gonna let you down on this big one, for real. Your feet are gonna have blisters, you're gonna be dancing so hard,” Diddy added in the clip.

Internet slams Ellen DeGeneres over resurfaced video with Sean 'Diddy' Combs

Many social media users appeared angry at Ellen DeGeneres over the resurfaced video.

One user wrote, “OH Hollyweird. Looks like all celebs will be canceled.”



 

Another user commented, “They all knew!! And many were part of it!! Hollywood sickos!”



 

The third one wrote, “Quite the ringing endorsement from Ellen! When you're the signal for fun to start, you must be doing something right, Diddy.”

 



 

 



 

“Is the list shorter of people you can count out?” the fourth user asked.

Another said, “Ellen truly is a nasty person.”



 

 



 

One person remarked, “She definitely looks like someone who partook in diddy parties.”

“Ellen’s name will definitely be on the diddys list,” a tweet read.



 

Sean 'Diddy' Combs accused of building ‘criminal enterprise’

This came after 54-year-old Sean 'Diddy' Combs pleaded not guilty to the allegations against him after being arrested on September 16.

As per federal prosecutors’ allegtions, Diddy had built a “criminal enterprise" and indulged in objectionable and repressive behavior against "women and others around him" over the years using his power, money and influence, BBC reported.

If found guilty, Diddy can be awarded a sentence of anywhere from 15 years to life imprisonment.
