NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sean "Diddy" Combs' empire appears to be crumbling as he launched a "desperate" fire sale of his assets in light of mounting legal troubles.

The music mogul was arrested on September 16 and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs ordered to pay $100 million for failing to respond to a lawsuit

Sean "Diddy" Combs' has been hit with a staggering $100 million default civil judgment by a Michigan judge, forcing him to sell his assets to cover his legal fees.

The once-revered rapper has reportedly been trying to sell his 17,000-square-foot Los Angeles home—one of two properties that were raided by Homeland Security—for $61.5 million.

"The walls certainly seem to be closing in on him," told a source to RadarOnline

The $100 million payout stems from the allegations brought against Diddy by Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, a 51-year-old Michigan inmate serving up to 75 years for first-degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping.

As per court documents, Cardello-Smith claims Diddy spiked his drink and assaulted him when he was unconscious at a party in Detroit in 1997.

Despite vehemently denying the allegations, the rapper failed to respond to the lawsuit, resulting in a jaw-dropping order to pay $10 million a month.

Disturbing allegations against Sean 'Diddy' Combs

Since last year, Sean "Diddy" Combs has faced multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual and physical assault.

His ex-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, filed a lawsuit in November 2023 claiming that the rapper had been abusive toward her throughout their relationship. He allegedly paid an undisclosed sum, rumored to be in the millions, to settle the suit within a day.

In May of this year, CNN published a gut-wrenching surveillance video from 2016 in which Diddy appeared to assault Ventura in the hallway of a hotel. The actions seen in the video reportedly seemed to match the claims made by Ventura in her lawsuit.

Two days after the video came to light, the music mogul issued an apology saying, "My behavior on that video is inexcusable." He had previously denied Ventura's allegations.

Additionally, Dawn Richard, a former member of Danity Kane, accused Diddy of being inappropriate with her and locking her inside a car. In her federal lawsuit, she also claimed witnessing the rapper manhandling Ventura in his Los Angeles home.

Diddy, who has described the allegations as "sickening," is currently in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial. His bail requests have been rejected.

US District Court Judge Andrew L Carter stated that "no condition or set of conditions" could guarantee the safety of witnesses and the community if Diddy were released. Prosecutors argued that he has a history of extorting his alleged victims.

Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars and a maximum sentence of life in prison if found guilty.
