NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Elon Musk has responded to Chloe Fineman calling out the Tesla owner for making her cry during his 'Saturday Night Live' appearance.

Musk shared over X, “Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches generated laughs. I was worried.”

He continued, “I was like damn my SNL appearance is going to be so f*****g unfunny that it will make a crackhead sober!! But then it worked out in the end 😮‍💨.”

Musk also shared a link to his appearance at the September All-In Summit, where he talked about his 'SNL' experience at length.

What did Elon Musk say about Chloe Fineman's sketch?

Rumors about a particularly challenging 'SNL' guest host had circulated since cast member Bowen Yang hinted at his "worst experience" during a show, though he stopped short of naming names.

But Fineman didn’t hold back after Musk openly criticized Dana Carvey’s impression of him on a post-election episode of SNL, reported Entertainment Weekly.

In a now-deleted video on social media, Fineman wrote, "OK, I just saw some news article about Elon Musk being like butthurt over SNL and his impression," as per Daily Mail.

She further said, "And I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna come out and say at long last that I'm the cast member that he made cry. And he's the host that made someone cry."

The episode, which Musk hosted, apparently took an emotional toll on Fineman after Musk expressed disapproval of her writing.

Chloe Fineman called out Elon Musk for his brutal comment

Recounting the incident, Chloe Fineman revealed, "You made I, Chloe Fineman bust into tears because I stayed up late writing a sketch, I was so excited, I came in, I asked if you had any questions, and you stared at me like you were firing me from Tesla and were like, it's not funny."

"He started pawing through my script – like flipping each page, [and] being, like, 'I didn't laugh once, not one time.'"

Despite the tense experience, Fineman later acknowledged that Musk performed well in the skit.

Reflecting on the finished product, she said, "The sketch made it on, and it was fine, and I actually had a really good time and I thought you were really funny in it. But, you know. Have a little manners here, sir!"
