WASHINGTON, DC: Tech billionaire and White House advisor Elon Musk threatened former Congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) with a lawsuit on Friday, March 21, after the latter recently derided him on television, reported Fox News.

On his social media platform X, Musk retweeted a clip from Bowman's appearance on CNN where he accused the Department of Government Efficiency chair of being a "Nazi" and a "thief," among other things.

"I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound," Musk wrote in his post.

What is Jamaal Bowman's complaint against Elon Musk?

A former member of the progressive 'Squad' of Democratic lawmakers in Congress, Jamaal Bowman, stated during a roundtable discussion on CNN, "The American people do not trust Elon Musk, and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position."

"How do we know? Because they fired tens of thousands of people, was challenged in court. The court said the people have to go back, and now the people are coming back," he continued. "He's incompetent. He's a thief. He's a Nazi. And people don't trust him."

Musk has been facing increasing allegations of being a Nazi after he performed what appeared to be a 'Nazi salute' at a public event on the day of President Donald Trump's inauguration, January 20.

Bowman lost his seat in the House of Representatives in July 2024 when he was defeated in the Democratic primary by George Latimer.

A vocal critic of Israel's invasion of Gaza, Bowman claimed that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee spent millions to influence voters against him. Back in 2023, Bowman notably got censured for pulling the fire alarm that interrupted government shutdown negotiations.

"This coming from a disgraced ex-Congressman who pulled a fire alarm on his coworkers?!" mocked another.

"Sounds an awful lot like projection to me," shared a third.

"CNN is complicit for allowing this rhetoric on their channel. It's fueling the hate already happening!" exclaimed a fourth.

"Stupidity combined with high self-esteem is a bad combination," jibed a fifth.
