WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk has got the Internet talking after arriving at President Donald Trump’s Cabinet meeting at the White House on Monday, March 24, wearing a red hat with a bold message— "Trump was right about everything."

At the meeting, the 78-year-old commander-in-chief gushed over the Tesla CEO's contributions to his administration and even called him a "friend."

Elon Musk ditched his usual black "Dark MAGA" hat for the "Trump was right about everything" hat, whose design Donald Trump himself revealed to the press back in February, as reported by The Daily Beast.

Apart from the tech billionaire, the high-profile meeting was also attended by the likes of Marco Rubio, Robert F Kennedy Jr, and Pete Hegseth, who were sitting in their designated spot with their roles clearly described on their name card as Secretary of State, Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Defense Secretary.

The SpaceX founder’s name card, on the other hand, was bare except for his name "Elon Musk," which was written in bold font.

While the absence of his official position in the name card posed a huge question about his role in the government, Trump appeared to alleviate some of the confusion among the critics' minds when he called Musk his "friend."

Speaking in the congregation, Trump said, "Elon, I want to thank you. I know you've been through a lot with this horrible situation that happens. He is a patriot."

The MAGA leader added, "He's become a friend of mine. He has become a friend of mine and supported me in the election. That's when I got to know him really."

"I knew him a little bit from the first term, but not much/ He has never asked me for a thing. He could have," the president said, before quipping, "That's always subject to change, and if it does change, I'll let you know about it."

One wrote, "His outfits are epic!!!"

A person expressed, "Elon Musk I love your sense of humor you know you're a million people for you stand up for you," whereas someone else added, "That's quite a bold statement from Elon Musk. It's interesting how his actions can stir up strong reactions from different political viewpoints."

"Master of trolling after TRUMP 🤣☺️☺️🤣," declared an admirer. "Elon Musk wearing a 'TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING ' ball cap during a Cabinet Meeting in the White House is EXACTLY what I voted for," a comment read.

However, some weren't too keen on the new MAGA hat.

A critic wrote, "A hat that Trump is SELLING on his personal fundraising site for $47. No grift too small," and another added, "Trump was NOT right about ANYTHING. Groceries Eggs More jobs Ending the Ukraine War in 24 hours."

"Where is his suit and tie? Does he have respect?" one more said, possibly referring to the backlash Volodymyr Zelensky received for the outfit he wore during his heated Oval Office meeting with Trump.

"That is one of the most Cringe, Cabinet meeting ever! And we're only 2 months in. The Legion of Doom meeting," another comment read.

An individual said, "I find it very odd how they all have to kiss up to him, and that Donald really needs that kind of validation," while one asked, "Aren’t campaign wear illegal to wear at these events?"
