Epstein monitored Trump closely even after their friendship collapsed, newly released emails show
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A tranche of roughly 20,000 pages released by Republican members of the House Oversight Committee has revealed that Jeffrey Epstein and his staff continued monitoring the movements of Donald Trump for years, even after their once-public friendship had soured.
The documents, released on Wednesday, detail emails between Epstein, his pilot, accountant, and several associates that reference Trump’s air travel, logistical updates, and news coverage.

Epstein staff tracked Donald Trump’s airport schedules and planned flights
According to the documents, many of the emails centered around airport timing. Epstein’s pilot, Larry Visoski, frequently updated Epstein when Trump was expected to arrive or depart at airports the financier also used.
In one exchange on November 25, 2016, shortly after Trump won the presidential election, Visoski wrote, “Trump is still scheduled to depart Sunday between 4 and 6 pm.” Epstein responded that he would update his own plans the following morning.
Other messages flagged Trump’s proximity. On December 2, 2017, Epstein received a note saying, “Trump in our neighborhood today. Looks like he is going to 740 Park for a fundraiser.”
The email was signed by Epstein’s accountant, Richard Kahn, though the sender’s address was redacted.
Another visitor waiting outside Epstein’s home quipped that they didn’t want to arrive early and “find Trump in your house,” adding two smiling emojis.
Documents show Epstein kept up with Trump-related news coverage
The emails included articles forwarded to Epstein about Trump-related controversies, such as Roger Stone’s 2019 arrest and reporting on Michael Cohen’s cooperation with prosecutors.
In several exchanges with former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Epstein criticized Trump. In one December 2018 email, he wrote, “Trump – borderline insane. dersh, a few feet further from the border but not by much.” Summers replied by asking, “Will Trump crack into insanity?”
Epstein responded that Trump had endured intense pressure in the past and wrote, “His strength is remarkable… I hope someone close to him gets indicted… otherwise the pressure of the unknown will force him to do crazy things.”
Pilot updates continued throughout 2016 - 2018
Visoski repeatedly flagged Trump’s itineraries. In December 2016, he wrote:
“Updated President Elect schedule… Trump Plane to arrive Orlando at 5 pm… then arrive Palm Beach estimate 10 pm… He usually runs late.”
In March 2018, he added another update: “Friday Trump arrives in PBI, I’ll confirm time.”
The filings also show Epstein informing staff in early 2019 that Trump would be at a neighbor’s residence, prompting a warning about potential Secret Service checks.
The documents revealed similar mentions of then-Vice President Joe Biden in 2012, with an assistant noting his arrival schedule and the impact on airport closures.
Trump camp rejects implications of the release
Responding to the documents, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said, “These emails prove literally nothing.”
Trump, posting on Truth Social, accused Democrats of attempting to revive what he called the “Jeffrey Epstein hoax.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Democrats had “selectively leaked” emails to create “a fake narrative,” asserting that Trump had removed Epstein from his club “decades ago for being a creep to his female employees.”

Democrats had earlier released three older email threads from Epstein in which he described Trump as the “dog that hasn’t barked.” Those releases reignited public scrutiny of the men’s past association.
