WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump gave an epic response to first lady Melania Trump's fans on Thursday, November 13, who think the POTUS is "not good enough."

Trump made the remarks during a White House event where the first lady delivered an opening speech explaining her mission to support foster children as they gradually age out of the system.

During the event, Donald Trump gave remarks after Melania Trump but didn't receive the warmth like the first lady, prompting him to respond to her fans.

"Our country is truly blessed to have this magnificent and very caring first lady. They love her!" the POTUS said during his speech.

He then added, "Every time I get up and make a speech, they say, 'We want our first lady!' and I say, 'What the hell? I’m not good enough?'" as he raised both his hands.

Interestingly, in a few instances this year, some political figures have told Trump that they like Melania better, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, the first lady has taken a focus on the welfare of children since moving back into the White House this year.

She has been working with Putin on reuniting Ukrainian children displaced to Russia during the war, has upgraded her "Be Best" children's health and wellness program, and organized a contest for youngsters surrounding innovation and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education.

Trump signs executive order to expand opportunities for foster children

Melania Trump unveiled "Fostering the Future," a new national initiative aimed at helping young people from foster care communities access higher education and technology-based career opportunities.

Speaking at the White House alongside the POTUS, she said, "It’s truly inspiring to see everyone gathered here together, united in support of this remarkable initiative. Our united resolve will foster a thriving future filled with compassion and innovation."

The first lady described "Fostering the Future" as both “empathetic and strategic,” and explained that it seeks to eliminate the cycle of poverty and instability for foster children.

Moreover, she credited universities such as the University of Miami for joining the effort and said that the initiative’s goal is to build a nationwide network of educational institutions, private sector employers, and nonprofits committed to supporting children aging out of foster care.

Melania added, "This small spark today will ignite a profound and lasting nationwide movement. Together, we will illuminate the pathway for today’s foster children to become tomorrow’s builders."

Meanwhile, the POTUS signed the new executive order on "Fostering the Future for American Children and Families," which he said would "make America’s foster care system better, fairer and more effective than ever before."

The order directs federal agencies to coordinate with the first lady’s office in establishing mentorship, training, and employment programs for foster youth transitioning into adulthood.

"When Melania gets involved in things, it works. This initiative will help provide jobs and personal development opportunities to fantastic young people who need and deserve them," Trump mentioned.
